    Well it's not only Arkansas as you can plainly see.  America is fat.  But I don't think any of us liberal would argue that the federal gov't doesn't have a role in making its citizens healthier, which is why we supported Michelle's healthy lunches program.  Did you support that issue?

    Yes, I do. I think all Americans want a healthier population - especially our children. And, it ties in neatly with gaining control of our out-of- control health care costs that have been a huge topic of conversation of late.

    then please explain why so many in gop run states that are overwhelmingly poor vote against their own interests?
    you know, those states that receive the most in social service dollars. are ranked at the bottom in most metrics be it education, health, median income, etc.....
