    They probably ran onto the same issue that caused 2023 seats to be reassigned, and now they're going through each request before they fire off emails.

    This is quite plausible. Maybe they had a default set up to once selected for Pit, the other night automatically gave RES, and they’ve realized that that isn’t how it was advertised and are now addressing it. 

    Better they find and fix an issue now than later.

    No, it's just been various people with Raleigh getting Pit 1/ Rsvd 2 (and/or Rsvd for both?) which even seems to be halted now.
