just realized we are in Dec and there hasn't been a vault preorder for this year yet..anyone have any news? or is the series finished?

    There was an interview from I believe the band's manager and the gist was it's on indefinite leave and that the band was focused on promoting and touring on Dark Matter. Some on here took that as it's over, but I interpreted it as it's on a prolonged hiatus. No official word, though, from Santos or anyone with 10c.

    Crossing fingers it's only a prolonged hiatus. Though they did release a Vault vinyl during their Gigaton tour. I just hope that's not the end of the Vault vinyl releases.

    I believe it in my heart that there will be more vault releases on vinyl.

    Yep on an interview a few months ago Tim Bierman said the band is really focused on promoting and touring Dark Matter so the vault series is not a key focus at the moment.

    Bummer. I don't remember that.
    And it doesn't make sense. It snot like Jeff is out there mixing the tapes himself. I'm sure someone in management just asks "Hey, is it ok if we do show X for this year's vault?" and they just respond "Are we still doing that? I guess so." Thus ending the band's involvement with the vault process.
