I saw someone commenting that April in Florida is the High Point for storms and tornado season. As someone who’s lived in this area for a decade, I can guarantee that both of those things are false. We don’t even have a tornado season and especially not near Miami.
They said the South, not Florida. And for the cities in the South (Atlanta, Raleigh, Nashville) they are correct.
I was about to say this too. Just ask Uncle Neil about his experience touring the south last April/May!

    This sounds pretty good?! 👍
PS. Hilton Nashville (next to Bridgestone arena) sold out that week in May, just checked …
This would put them in the area for Boston Calling May 23-25 especially if they squeezed in another stop. Maybe that's where Canada fits?

so we really think tickets on sale like within 2 weeks? seems like some of the festivals and toronto fits squarely in between some gaps here

I was talking about tornado season in Georgia and Tennessee..not Florida. We most certainly have a tornado and storm season here.

Taylor Swift's Nashville show last year was delayed for hours from severe thunderstorms and that was may 7th hence why I would like Bridgestone Arena.

I’ve also lived in Raleigh and never had one tornado and hardly any thunderstorms at all. Definitely not in April. Not sure what part you guys live in. Lol

No offense meant to the cities listed so far but I’m hoping for a few really awesome options to visit to be added.  New Orleans is so
far in the top spot for me but the fact that it’s jazz fest is a tough one.  And yes, Knoxville would have been a better choice to me than Nashville, but so far city wise to me my ranking would be NO, Nash,Hollywood, Atl, Pitt.  Come on boys, give some super places to visit
I'm just curious what someone would do in Knoxville for a couple of days? I've spent plenty of time there and it's probably one of the worst cities in the south I've visited. You also lose the flight options Nashville has. They know.. if you build it they will come.

Ed summed up Knoxville nicely in '98, and the city hasn't changed since then.
Just outside is a town called Maryville which has Blackberry Farms brewing. A great taproom with fantastic beer and amazing food.

You may be right about Raleigh. It may be far enough up the eastern coast to avoid the april/may curse. But Atlanta and Nashville...brace for impact.

For Raleigh - do people stay further out? not many options closer to the arena?

Yep..i have to clean out the coat closet everytime we have a tornado threat in case we have to dash in there . After the big 2020 Easter tornado hit Chattanooga I bought helmets.
