I thought RSD stores had to sign a pledge to not jack up the prices of RSD exclusives. No?
I wanted other ones too…. It’s a time for giving, not splurging on me. Left bad taste in my mouth, but I was the one who swiped the card

If anyone was able to secure a second that they would be willing to sell to an Australian, please let me know. None of my local stores were able to secure a copy.

And it'll come up in the shop at some ungodly hour all of a sudden and by the time Australians see it there, it'll be long gone 😅

They did sell the RSD release of Dark Matter online.
  • $45 plus tax for 2 songs? No way. I’m over this

Anyone seeing the Tom Petty Live in Edinburgh album at your shops (orange vinyl)?   Can't find it.

I wouldn't be surprised, but this is also listed as a RSD exclusive limited to 4k copies. I feel like previous PJ releases were much larger printings and were also listed as RSD "First" releases.

Is RSD just kinda fizzling? I've hi been going to the same place for years and both the fanfare and stock have been decreasing. Today they had 2 end caps with about 40 albums in total. A couple others sprinkled through the regular stock. They used to have a section for anything that wasn't featured but that was empty. No table of giveaways. I asked at the register and they said everything they have is what was out.
Black Friday Record Store Day usually isn’t as busy as the RSD in April.

Did u find Vegas 5/18? They had all of but Vegas 5/18 when I was there -a few hours ago in that box they had on the counter at check out. The guy helping me out checked the computer which said they had plenty but when we didnt find it in the box he said he may have scanned it wrong- didnt look anywhere else for me so i left with only the 5/16 one. Still on the hunt for 5/18

I thought there was 3 of 5/16, and 1 of 5/18, but not sure.  I was only interested in 5/16, so didn't pay a whole lot of attention.

If only 50k+ copies of the Dark Matter album sold the first week. I think there will still be tons left of the 4k copies of this
    I miss igotid88

Friend of mine found it at Fascinating Rythm in Nanaimo BC.  I guess a few did make it to Canada.  He grabbed me one.  I think they were charing 42CAD.  Kind if pricey.  Their price for the doors was about 20 percent high than my local store.

I just wanted to thank you for this post. I was unable to get out early this morning but, I did see this post about 10 minutes after you posted it. I drove straight from work and picked up every title I was after.
