Are Democrats really unhappy with the election results?

I mean it’s 4 more years of Trump hating. Maybe longer. It’s been 9 years of their world revolving around Trump. From checking Twitter for mean tweets every morning, fantasizing about Trump going to jail. Thinking he was going to lose his fortune. Hanging on Jack Smiths every finding. Thinking he was actually gonna be removed by an impeachment?

Now you get to sit back and reap the rewards of a second Trump term without and disruptions from the House or Senate. 4 more years of Maddow and Morning Joe meltdowns.

It’s such a glorious time for America! Jan 20th we enter the Golden Age!

Dems will have to come up with something other than victimhood if they want to win any more significant elections.

Isn't that exactly what Trump just appealed to the last 8 years? Seems to work fine. Didn't think it would, but a lot of angry aggrieved people thought his American carnage story resonated. Grievances and victimhood were the main talking points at every rally.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Absolutely, and it's been nearly 30 years since I voted for a Republican clown.  I saw through them a long time ago. And now I see through the other clowns.

The dems probably just need to sit tight and let the clown show do its thing.
  • I don’t know about the Democrats, but I for one am relieved Trump will finally put an end to all these wind mills. The only way we can have a golden age is if we eradicate these beastly machines from the Earth once and for all. USA!!

Just read through the AMT and some of the comments made by democrat regime defenders and it’s obvious some are on the verge of mental breakdowns.  Maybe they’ll take a step back and see we’re at the dawning of the American Golden Age.  That’s a wonderful thing for all of us.

What do you see happening over the next 4 years that you would describe as the golden age. Honest question

I think we’ve been in the economic boom, easy to miss when you’re in it. SPY returns over the 8 years have been 18-32% yearly except for one year with a GLOBAL inflation crisis caused by a pandemic and -4% year. We’re due for a drop if anything and the GOP may be putting the fuel on a small fire but we’ll see, only time will tell

Yes, my portfolio has done well over the last couple years, but the economy is more than the stock market as I’m sure you know.  Inflation has driven up the price of everything.  The housing market is a disaster, especially for 1st time home buyers.  Interest rates have dropped, but only recently (failed election interference by the Fed btw).  Yet rates are still to high and once Trump’s economic policies take effect we should see them drop to pre pandemic levels.

But inflation is a global issue and interest rates are really the only lever that can be pulled to fix. Dropping rates too quickly will only cause more issues. I’m not sure what Trump thinks he can do any differently in this case that won’t trigger inflation again.

One pillar of Trump’s economic agenda is energy dominance, not independence, but dominance.  He’s gonna sign multiple executive orders on Day 1 to make this a reality.  This by itself will crush inflationary numbers thus forcing the Fed to drop rates (hopefully in a responsible way).  Now just think when Elon and Vivek get through cutting trillions in govt waste and size, that’s more accelerant for the economy.  Immigration reform will help in that regard too.

Correct that few on here share your optimism, but you guys have the trifecta now. No more blaming Democrats, every fuck up will be exclusively because of Republicans. Maybe you guys will shut up and take some accountability for once. Naw, I’m just kidding.

Understand Trump is battling Republicans (Rinos) as much as he is the Democrats.  That’s what I mean when I use the terms Uniparty or establishment.  Trump is a threat to the stranglehold on govt they (the uniparty) have held for altleast the last 60 years.  It won’t be easy but times are a changing.
