Washington Innocence Project (WashIP) is the only organization that works exclusively to free innocent people imprisoned in Washington State and advances policy change to improve the criminal justice system for all. Join us on October 10th as we gather at The Showbox to enjoy a family style dinner prepared by Matt's in the Market, celebrate WashIP's freed clients, present the Jackie McMurtrie Champion of Justice Award, and raise funds to continue fighting for innocence in Washington.

85% of our operating budget comes from individual donations, foundation grants, and the support of our community partners to fight on behalf of Washington's wrongly convicted. We do not receive funding from the Innocence Project in New York City nor does any other innocence organization. Stand for Innocence is our primary fundraising event of the year.
