Feels like if he gets fired it's an in-season move and you-know-who shows up.

Saints are dirty AF. Knocked Smith and Slay out on purpose. Every time we play them I remember how much I hate them.

    Wow that was some game!

Sirianni still needs to go. Defense was great!

Nah I think Lurie was absolutely ready to pull the trigger on Belichick, I have to think Howie was the voice of reason at the time.

I think it's a race between Lurie and Jerrah as to who pulls the trigger first and hires Belichick. Odds are currently favoring Jerrah.

Belichik is an x's & o's guy who has clearly fallen behind the times. Doesn't solve the issues that Sirianni has, as he's in charge of neither the O or the D. Doesn't make sense to me but I can see someone like Lurie being obsessed with the idea. I think it would be a disaster.

Look, I'm certainly not against going for it on 4th down, especially when the alternative is punting. You're giving up the ball either way. Now, going for it on 4th and 3 from the 30 instead of taking an easy 3 points, yes I'm very against that. Especially when you're missing your best WR, your HoF RT and your RG. Total joke. And I wasn't really that angry about trying that 60-yarder, honestly. But then last week he doesn't go for it on 4th down to ice the game. Kick a FG to go up SIX - the worst situation you can put your defense in.

Especially considering you are trailing by *checks notes* exactly 3 points at the time.

And the one before halftime made absolutely no sense. They get the 1st down, they have like one shot at the end zone. Totally indefensible.
Nick isn't running the offense or the defense, and he's failing at managing the game. I mean, like, what's he doing?

That was the one where you're at best trying to draw them offsides, at least I was giving them the benefit of the doubt on what they were trying to accomplish. Actually converting there makes you so thinly, marginally better at scoring a TD it's stupid.

The one before halftime was the one I did not like...not so much because they'd only have one shot at the end zone, more so because they got the ball back at halftime. Normally you are happy with any points in that situation and then you pile it on to start the second half. Pats were notorious for that over the years.

Super early, but feels like a season saving-ish win yesterday, especially with so many guys out.

Defense was great....except big ol' number zero. He's turning into one of the worst moves of Roseman's tenure.

Kind of a tough matchup with the injuries and the brutal weather. (Fuck your very much NFL. 1:00 in September for the Tampa game, really?)

But damn this defense looks shitty. Especially at the beginning of games. Not impressed at all by old Vic.

And Hurts just has to be better. He needs to escape the pocket a few times. He needs to stop turning it over all the time.

12 straight games Eagles haven't won the turnover battle.   Schedule gets easier after bye this week. next 4 games after the bye will determine where this season goes.  Browns, Giants, Bengals and Jaguars.   Got to win at least 3 of those.

    ya think?

3-1 against those stiffs (excluding Bengals) won’t prove anything.
