Release date for rarities?

Hey All,

Does anyone know the release date for the rarities set? The last I heard was Rolling Stone said it would be a 2 disc set released sometime in September.

    Well, all i can say is, I was hanging out after a Rockfords show a couple weeks ago, and Mike was signing autographs and whatnot, and he mentioned to someone that they're trying to get it out "real soon."

    Off subject, I got his autograph and now I can die happy!

    Well,
    I just realized what could impact the release - whether or not it's on Sony. From what I understand, Riot Act finished the obligation with Sony and the band definately said they were leaving. Now, if Sony is releasing the disc, you can bet it will be out for Christmas.

    However, if the band is still hashing ideas to form their own distribution arm (which is what they have been heavily hinting at)... well that could take years.

    I'll bet by Christmas it will be available either through Tenclub or Sony.

    I was still hoping for September. Frankly, Riot Act didn't quench my thirst much as a studio album.
