Why iS The Album "Ten", called "ten"????

i've heard lots about this one... but why is ten called ten?? if anyone knows, plz explain. thx!!

    cuz pearl jam used to be called "mookie blaylock" (basketball player) and and "10" was his number...thats what i read somewhere anyway...
