To be fair, these songs hold up live and work well with the classics. Amazing the band put an album out this stage in their career that could hold up.

Exactly, which is why I want to hear these songs while they are fresh and in-the-moment. I don't need to chase 20+ year old songs at this point in my concert-going career (although I would love to hear Around the Bend!). But.for a band to make an album this great great, three decades into their career, is genuinely rare, at least among bands I follow, and is a true gift to the fans who have followed for so long. Play the heck out of these songs while they are hot, please!

    Songs I have heard before:

    1) Present Tense
    2) Inside Job
    3) HTI

Have not heard (excluding DM songs):

    4) No Way
    5) Who You Are
    6) All Those Yesterdays

All DM songs but top 3 are:

    7) Upper Hand
    8) WFS
    9) Got to Give

The "hit" I never get tired of:
    10) Better Man (with a full Save it for Later tag)
    00 - Atlanta                                            10 - MSG I&2
    03 - Birmingham, Atlanta                       22 - L̶a̶s̶ ̶V̶e̶g̶a̶s̶, Camden, Nashville
    04 - Asheville, Kissimmee                     23 -  Ft Worth 2
    08 - Tampa, Columbia                           24 -  Philadelphia 1&2, Baltimore
    09 - Atlanta 1&2 (EV)                            25 -  Raleigh 2, Pittsburgh 1&2
" if hope could grow from dirt like me. It can be done.
  • 5 I've yet to get yet:

    1) Once (8 shows not once!)
    2) Deep
    3) Dissident
    4) Blood
    5) Whipping

I've heard but would love to hear again:
    6) Yellow Ledbetter
    7) Black
    8) State Of Love & Trust
    9) Given To Fly
    10) Lukin

As you can tell, it was a good weekend at Wrigley for Personal faves, but a bad one for chasing! (Although I did get Released for the first time so thats a win!)

    1. "Comes Then Goes"
    2. "Dirty Frank"
    3. "Hold On"
    4. "Hitchhiker"
    5. "Gremmie Out of Control"
    6. "Whale Song"
    7. "Aye Davanita"
    8. "Pry, To" (as an intro to "Corduroy")
    9. "Just a Girl"
    10. "Bugs" (only because it's the only studio-album track that has been played live that I have not seen played live)

These are all songs that I have never seen live. "Whale Song" is a reach since Jack is no longer in the band.

    Honorable mention to:
    11. "W.M.A." (full version, not as a tag)
    12. "I'm Open" (full version, with spoken-word verses)

In terms of songs that I've already seen played that I'd be particularly excited if they showed up in a set, I'd add:

    1. "Force of Nature"
    2. "Ghost"
    3. "Got to Give"
    4. "Retrograde"
    5. "Getaway"
    6. "Swallowed Whole"
    7. "Infallible"
    8. "Speed of Sound"
    9. "Marker in the Sand"
    10. "Evacuation"

"Insignificance," "Grievance" and "Cropduster" could also be on this list.

The caveat to all of the songs listed above is that, since they are rarely played, I would be most excited to hear them only if they had been rehearsed. I would not be excited to hear the opening notes of one of these songs only for it to devolve into a shambolic version where Eddie murders the lyrics.

I gather speed from you fucking with me.

Absolutely adore this song!  It's included in my list on the previous page.  It has a NIN / Depeche Mode vibe to it.  Unique and awesome.
    I'm spinning, oh-oh-oh I'm spinning
