What happens to so many songs? Seems like they’re pulling from such a small pool this year. Such a shame.

Its crazy how some songs which use to be semi regulars have just fallen off the map. Songs that were once every 4 shows are now once every tour.

    Once
    Oceans
    Garden
    Deep
    Animal
    Go
    Rearviewmirror
    Indifference
    Hail Hail
    In My Tree
    Red Mosquito
    Brain Of J
    Faithful
    In Hiding
    Light Years
    Save You
    Love Boat Captain
    I Am Mine
    Green Disease
    Grievance
    Severed Hand
    Pendulum

I am sure some of these have been played and maybe some as many times as they used to but that list above is mostly amazing songs no matter who you ask and the songs are just not being played anymore.

I think from here on out we will see what Ed can pull out comfortably. With Dark Matter, an 11 song NEW release we will not see an Official NOT Dark Matter setlist until after the current batch of dates that are announced. "Got to Give" is the only song of the eleven that Ed has not shown that it can be consistently sung (it being played once Vancouver 2).

Nick, you have been around here for some time and we have seen many of the same shows. You remember Ed 2006. You remember Ed 2008. You remember Ed 2010. You remember Ed 2013. You remember Ed 2016. You remember Ed 2018. You remember Ed 2021; Sea:Hear:Now. The first performance in 3 years. Downhill from there. Thirty Three years smoking, and drinking wine, living his best life has left him a bit hurt in the health meter like a video game. The lighter coming out as a gift to the 10 year-old in Noblesville is the nail in the coffin.
With the multiple incidents of his throat since 2018 London, we will never have our "voice" from the previous shows Ed back.
I have sat back comfortably listening to all of that music. It makes me sad.
When your voice is your main instrument...You have to take care of that thing as if your life depends on it.
I heard it mentioned that Ed said he would take the evolution of his voice due to lifestyle and just go for it. All the best for him enjoying himself.

We are down to 25 songs per with many repeats due to new record cycle, songs that must be played, set lists determined by location and time allocation.(festivals still getting full 23 songs but the same songs, I do not have to say much more. I find gems of performances that are new. Ed is just not consistent, he knows it and he does not want to make the band look bad. Ed will try, we just now typically wish he did not.
And finally, you DO NOT KNOW what "simple" song he could simply blow his voice out. Ed is just not going to write "that" song on to the setlist perhaps anymore. We will see. If I could say one thing to Ed, now, "Ed play to your strengths. Save yourself. I miss you already."

I love you Ed, and I always will. All of your years PJ. 1990 to....

The band can play anything and they are as hot and passionate as ever. Let Ed choose what is best for him and the show.

Stone's fault. Wants to play new stuff.

How about dissident into wma gentlemen?

Or I'll just spin it. Won't go to a live show again anyway. Too rich and complicated for this simple f..k.

I’d say it’s more to do with Ed’s voice than anything but that just my guess. But once or twice on tour wouldn’t hurt surely. Maybe Ed’s just struggling to those notes these days. Animal’s gone by the wayside too.
Aside from "Daughter" and "Small Town," the whole Vs album is getting killed! Such a shame.
Very true.  RVM is 10x the song that Porch is.  Porch is one of the weakest songs on Ten, yet gets played every night.
