My apologies if I'm doing this wrong. My first post in more than 10 years (probably closer to 20).
Huge Pearl Jam fan. Despite never having seen them live, I bought dozens of bootlegs back in the early 2000s when they first came out. Life caught up to me, though. Married. Kids. Divorced. Married again. Several career changes. Still listening to them, but not nearly as fanatic as I used to be. Until now. My wife was in a motorcycle accident last month, so I've been going to the hospital on a daily basis to visit her. Totally connected to Dark Matter while listening to it on headphones during one of her surgeries. She knows my love for the band so she told me I should go to the Chicago show (night 2). I bought tickets for the pit area for myself and a college friend.
I'm just looking for a little advice for being in the pit area. I'm not going to be able to wait in line to get a good spot, and I'm fine with that. Any tips on how to take advantage of being in the pit. I'm sure you veterans must have some words of wisdom for a first timer.
I'm so pumped.
Thank you.

Sorry to hear about your wife's accident. I hope she is recovering.
There is really no advice I can give you as far as GA. Get there when you can, find what you feel is a comfortable spot, grab a beverage, smoke a fatty, and have a blast!
That advice, as always, is free if charge.
Take me piece by piece.....
