those wierd silver wings on the speaker on stage

sorry to start a new thread for one simple question. - I know its hard to read through all that is on this site anyway!!.

I have noticed that when PJ are on stage they always have a pair of wings made of likle a silver fabric on one of the speakers - can anybody shead any light as to when these appeared and why - its been bugging me for ages.

    Yeah i have seen them, first i thought they were something to do with Halloween, but then i realised how they always appear. They can always be seen on i think Stone's amp, and i to am puzzled as to why they are there.

    I believe they're from The Frogs. The Frogs have been around for quite a while, and they've opened for PJ often. One of the members of The Frogs would wear the wings while performing.

    I think I've seen the The Frogs open for PJ twice, and I believe they're from Milwaukee, WI. Ed also played a Frogs song on the broadcast after the Altanta Fox Theatre show back in 95. They're hilarious. Billy Corgan is also a big fan.
