What's illegal?mickeyrat said:feels a little illegal no?Trump says he’d consider appointing RFK Jr. to role in administration
By Eric Bradner, CNN3 minute readUpdated 4:58 PM EDT, Tue August 20, 2024Asked if he would consider appointing Kennedy to a role in his administration if he wins in November, Trump said he “probably would.”
Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.Getty ImagesCNN —Donald Trump said Tuesday he would “certainly” be open to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. playing a role in his administration if the independent candidate drops out of the 2024 race and endorses the former president.
“I like him, and I respect him,” Trump told CNN’s Kristen Holmes in an interview after a campaign stop in Michigan.
“He’s a brilliant guy. He’s a very smart guy. I’ve known him for a very long time,” the Republican presidential nominee said. “I didn’t know he was thinking about getting out, but if he is thinking about getting out, certainly I’d be open to it.”
Trump’s comments came after Kennedy’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, said on a podcast posted Tuesday that the Kennedy campaign is considering dropping out of the race and endorsing Trump. She described the decision as intended to reduce “the risk” that Vice President Kamala Harris defeats Trump.
Trump said he would “love that endorsement, because I’ve always liked” Kennedy.

coordination between campaigns?1st, he was actively running for the nomination then bowed out after s carolina placing 4th. his polling apparently showed he was dead in the water.later he was put up for sec transportation.rfk jr is actively running for president and is on ballot for such in a handful of states and claims to have the signatures to gain ballot access in the remaining states. both candidates are apparently in active communication.theres a difference._____________________________________SIGNATURE________________________________________________

A minor point but after years of following third parties and their ballot access fights "having the signatures" ain't the end of it. As we sit here today he only has 23 states. (Which is honestly kinda impressive for an independent run.)0 -

2024I'd also like to know if there are provisions/laws preventing that, but whatever that outcome is, the difference is obvious: Pete dropped out and was offered a job months after (no proof it was earlier). RFK is shopping around for a job based on him ending his campaign. Massive difference. It's pretty much like bribery.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0
