FYI - Fenway F2F closes 10 days before the show

If anyone is holding tickets to Fenway and are thinking of posting on F2F make sure to do it soon. Apparently, you won’t be able to sell your tickets on F2F within 10 days of the show. This seems to be for Fenway only. Don’t get stuck with tickets you can’t use.

On no… do I sell my pair and upgrade for a better single? Or give my extra away for a few beers? Hahaha

Yeah, this sucks. I'm not sure I can make it to the 2nd show and likely won't know until a week or so before.  Might just have to list them and then if it turns out I can go, hope to find some another way.  Sucks but I don't want to lose out on $350 either

I wonder why its only for Fenway and not Wrigley as well since they both will be using the Ballpark app I believe

So if someone gets sick within 10 days before the show they can’t sell their tickets?  That’s a fucking scam.  Once I purchase a commodity I should be able to do whatever the heck I want with it.   I’ve never sold my tickets but if I got sick or something 10 days before a show and couldn’t sell or transfer tickets I’d be pissed.

I think it’s lame too but wasn’t this always the policy with 10C tickets before Ticketmaster and fan to fan took over?

This is true. I think they would let you "donate" them if you wanted.

Tickets were also much cheaper, so maybe an easier pill to swallow. But your point still stands.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I read that this is for ALL tickets and not  just10C tickets.  I understand 10C having no resale rules, but if you got tickets in the general sale and can't sell or transfer within 10 days? very lame.
  • Also Ticketmaster’s way of saying “buy the insurance”

    Good point with all tickets.

I thought I read somewhere that those that got Fenway tickets from the MLB sale could forward them along now. Maybe I read that wrong or its not accurate info.

Yup. We donated two pair of Krakow 2018 tix (both husband and I won) because due to a family emergency, we couldn't travel to Europe at the last minute. The option was 1) receive the hard tix in the mail or 2) donate them to upgrade someone else. We paid $218 per pair, both sets were reserved seats, so I hope the recipients truly enjoyed our $436 donation.

Yup. If you couldn't go, you had two options:
    1) Receive the tickets in the mail after the show.
    2) Donate them to someone else at random.

It really was beneficial for local fans.

This has literally been the policy for 10 club tickets for 20 years. You know this.

Yes, but no.  Fan to fan just became a thing in the past few tours. I know that you never used to be able to get rid of 10 club tix before. But with fan to fan, you can. And now they are going to just shut it down 10 days before the show? Kinda bunk.
