    I HAVE ALWAYS RELATED THIS TUNE'S LYRICS AS QUESTIONING LIFE AFTER DEATH, AND WHETHER THERE REALLY IS SUCH A THING.
    THE "ECHOS" ARE THE NON RESPONSES OF OUR CREATOR ITSELF.
    OR AT LEAST THE RESPONSES WE ARE NARROWMINDEDLY ACUSTOMED TO HEARING OR EXPECTING. YET WE IN MAJORITY AS A GLOBAL SOCIETY REMAIN FAITHFUL, FAITHFUL TO THE BELIEF THAT A BETTER EXISTENCE AWAITS US.
    I DONT KNOW WTF IM RANTING ABOUT. ITS A GRAET SONG!!!

    I think it's about two kinds of faithful....

    one of them being putting too much of your faith in God....how people do that.

    also.....its about the faithfullness btw u and your lover

    i think the studio version is about being faithfull to your partner,and the recent live versions were more about having faith in something bigger than yourself. I think Faithfull becoming a semi-regularly performed song last year was a resonse to 9/11. Like the guys were telling us that faith gets you through dark times.
    I like bands.
