Philly: please play Deep and Hold On Monday night!

A request for the two Philly shows, no big story here, but I’ll be hitting both Philly shows, section 211 one night and 202 the other. First time for a show in Philly so very excited!

So, I’m requesting something that could be kind of awesome to spread over the two nights (super excited for DM tracks, so need the setlist room for those).

Since PJ played Ten in Philly last time, I’m requesting the band revisit the Ten era, but go DEEP this time. Here goes!

Please play Deep (my only Ten track to hear). This is a precursor to a mini Ten era b-side set (two songs a night?).

Ten era B sides to play:
Hold On
Brother
Just a Girl
Dirty Frank 


 My son and I will be driving in super early morning Saturday from Atlanta as he has a marching band football game on Friday. We are grabbing my sister from D.C. and can’t wait to see the band. My sister was at the Ten show, so this would be a super cool extension of that. 

For my son, Nathan, he is a big music guy (tenor sax in the band, plays electric guitar and some bass), and he LOVES music of all kinds, particularly anything Jack White. I pushed PJ early on him and Dirty Frank was the first song he really got attached to. This will be PJ shows 3 and 4 for him and he would love hearing it (and it would ease the sting of my Boston tease from ‘18).

This is a lot to ask I know, but any of those above songs would be killer to hear at the Philly shows.

What do we say? Let’s get this going and convince the band these songs (or some of them at least) need to be played!

    Fuck yes! Will be there for both nights. These will be my first shows in Philly. Historically they have always played Iconic shows in both Philly and in MSG so from the second that this year's tour was announced, I have had a specific idea of how these shows would play out and couldn't imagine them being anything short of spectacular when it would come to the setlist. Really hoping that Hold On makes it somehow on to the setlist as it will be the 15 year anniversary of it's live debut in Philly. Really hoping that the sets for these 2 shows will be something that we will be talking about for quite some time. Can't fucking wait.

    you know me homie, Id do em alllll.....Id rather the saturday show, prob gonna bail on Fenway for Ohana. Focusing on MSG for now, one thing at a time

    Used to have a bad bootleg called the Mookie Blaylock demos. It’s got a demo of Just a Girl. Sound quality is not good. Always loved that song.

    Would love these four songs over the two shows (and spread all of DM over the two shows while we’re at it!).

    I’ve never seen Dirty Frank live and hope I never do. I would support a Hold On appearance though.

    I got to see them perform this gem in Chicago 09. I still can't believe the history of this song and the emotions that it stirs up amongst the band members. I think this song is fucking amazing and sounds great on the record and live.
