    Going to three shows on the fall and hoping to catch most of Dark Matter. It seems like they play Scared of Fear - Dark Matter then maybe one or two other songs. From afar it seemed like they were really having fun playing the new stuff early in leg 1. I know Europe hasn’t been ideal but hoping they mix some more of it in for Leg 3.

    Cincinnati 8/20/00 and Mansfield 8/29/20 had nearly identical first sets. Faithful in the 7th spot for Cincy and GTF for Mansfield. Otherwise exact same 18 songs

    I went to a bunch of shows that year which is the only reason I remember that. Not sure if it has happened since. But definitely an oddity

    Yup. I actually predicted something like this was going to happen (written in one of these threads).  

    We all want different every concert every tour.  Hope we’re happy cause being just like every other band is definitely different for Pearl Jam.  Be careful what you wish for.

    I know some of these might be tough on EV’s voice but it’s just a shame that songs like Go, Animal, Last Exit, Hail Hail, and Brain of J are being so underplayed, if at all.

    I know it’s usually Ed’s decision (setlist) but maybe that was another request from the other guys.  I’ve heard stone say he wished it wasn’t always different even though he agreed Ed could feel the city/venue and then decide and be correct.  I was shocked in Nashville when he said they were playing “Rats” because Jeff requested it.

    Wrong...my analysis is simply some shows are better than others and the setlists post covid for me are nowhere close to pre covid. Some we're close Chicago II but, my needle simply isn't moved by being at the show and that justifies it was great regardless of setlist or length. For me I don’t need to be there to make that distinction and if that rubs some the wrong way don’t read what I have to say. Like I've said ad nauseum my praise for this band and on this forum over the last 34 years has been 90% positive and probably was 99% pre covid...hmm🤔🍷
