    We threw snowballs at Santa and we can't spell typing on phones! And those Miami fans are so amazing. Walking out of the NBA Finals before the game is over, booing the best player in hockey after they won a championship, always bringing those oh so original john 3-16 signs, never even coming close to halfway filling their dumb indoor baseball stadium. Man I wish we were more like them.

    Nothing is more douchy than a bunch of fans complaining about other fans. But sure, you guys are the best fans ever and no one has more of a right to criticize other cities than Philly.  The irony is thick.

    Maybe they are trying to be like Montreal (Le Club de Hockey Canadien).  Which would be annoying and pretentious, like the "football club" names that are being used in the States now.

    Let's rewind... the only reason I ever said a word about Philly fans is because of the comments made against the Panthers fans by the Philly person(s) here.   To reiterate, I hate the Panthers.  I am a Lightning fan and they are our rivals.  But the pretentious comments of Philly fans (ANY FANS) insulting another group of fans of not being legit, real, whatever, chaps my ass.  So if you guys would stfu about the digs at Panther fans, I would do the same.

    Pretty sure nothing would get you to stfu. I provided very obvious examples of loser fan behavior by Miami fans, and I stand by it.

    On the other hand, we are here giving multiple standing ovations to a struggling and very expensive free agent SS. Yeah, that would happen in Miami. LOL  Go watch all the Stanley Cup DVD's of your team and touch some grass dude.

    But my two examples were a good reason why they are a shitty fan base. And those two reasons came from an event two weeks ago, not 60 years ago.   They let up to 20% or more of their seats be sold to an opposing teams fans in game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals. is there another fan base in the NHL that would happen? I can't think of one.   And I didn't like the booing of the Conn Smythe award.  And if that happened in Philly i'd call it out as well.

    i believe I’m still gonna woot for VGK. not happy that the billionaire owner of the UHC is getting a billion dollar handout from the city/state to build his “downtown entertainment district.”

    it's ICE hockey. in FLORIDA. a co worker of mine used to go down to florida every winter, would get rink side seats, a hot dog, and a beer all for $25. and the place was still nearly empty. You don't change that shit overnight. I'd say their fanbase is doing pretty well all things considered. 

    I agree with mrussel1. shitting on an entire fanbase is pretty stupid. 
    Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer
