I don't know if position 925 out of 1100 (men only) is all that great. haha. But works for me!F Me In The Brain said:Great job!!
9000 ran in total. But most ran only 5km.
My collogue ran at ~50 minutes. So that will be my goal for next year."Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0 -
Great job with your 10K and goal setting!!!I was swimming in the Great Barrier Reef
Animals were hiding behind the Coral
Except for little Turtle

Love that. Pretty tall order but you can do it if you work at it.
What did the person in 725th run?

Do any of you ever get itchy when you run? Occasionally, when I am running my legs get really itchy for part of the run. It doesn’t happen all the time but happened today. So I decided to Google it. Apparently, it’s called Runner’s itch. It can be cause by a release of histamine, or by expanding capillaries as your heart rate goes up. It goes away as your heart rate returns to a normal rhythm. Who knew 🤷♀️0

Number 725 ran at 54:35. So roughly 5 minutes fasterF Me In The Brain said:What did the person in 725th run?

Perhaps a goal for next year can be "improve 200 spots" as 5 mins is still a very large gain on a 10k time in a year.Spiritual_Chaos said:

"Stretch goal " to be at 50 mins?
Either way, I think it is great progress and am glad you are enjoying.
I'm icing my knees with my robot Hyperice gizmo, right now. Pain every day, but it is 💯 worth it.
I'll take more of it, if I can keep improving. The love he receives is the love that is saved0 -

Sorry I've been away awhile. Hope everyone is well
I was diagnosed with a hip labral tear this week. I am scheduled for labral repair surgery on July 15th. Hopefully I can get back to running after my recovery.0 -

We are in heat wave, the running is grueling.
Headed to Georgia this week, so it continues.
The week after is Florida, more heat and humidity.

Sorry to hear that. I hope you have a speedy recovery, and can get back to running soon. I am heading to London tomorrow, then Berlin - will likely use the treadmills in my hotels if I can get motivated.NewfieintheUSA said:Sorry I've been away awhile. Hope everyone is well

Awesome. I am going to Indy as well. I don’t have GA yet (but I am looking). I do have a nice section A reserved. Looking forward to seeing you.NewfieintheUSA said:

Will bring my running stuff to Barcelona. Planned to run between the two concert dates. But I reckon it will be awfully hot there. First time I will have to bring water along"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0

Received an injection in my hip joint today, it's helped relieve some of the discomfort. That's a good sign that the labral repair will help.0

Well that's bullshit.... I'll have to go on a really long run to drown my sorrows 😭
What is it they say around these parts? Gutted0
