    We were on the rail that morning too. Things were relatively mellow at first through Sam Roberts & My Morning Jacket but got crazier the closer it got to Hip time. Once they hit the stage we were pretty much crushed. Hung in there for 2 songs and then we had to move to the back. 
    Oh shit. That weekend..me n u... . We didn't.. uhh..  you know ...? Hehe 
    Good times. That Festival seriously Lacked sum safety except for the safe tent - which was to one young women's dismay - lacking in 'safes'.
    😂 No we didn’t. Ended up marrying the girl I was there with though.

    I like that they're not approaching this like the other shows on the tour (i.e., the slow-burn open). It gives me hope that there will be nothing to see here.

    Saw the tragically hip at the nokia theater in times square. I was "3rd row" dead center. By the end of the show I was "8th row" right stage. Fuck I miss Gord 
    You get hosed by “Captain Canadas”?  If you are/were a member of the hipbase site you’ll know what I mean.

    I have always said that I don't mind if they open with a song that I'm less excited to hear, because it's hard for me not to be excited when they first walk on stage, but "Lukin" would test that theory.
