Corduroy has worked hard enough for the last 30 years. He could use a break.

Personally I need to hear Corduroy at every PJ show.  It's a staple. It's the most Pearl Jammy of Pearl Jam songs.
It’s my favorite song ever, and not just PJ songs, all songs. And I’ve only gotten it 3 out of my 6 shows, so yeah absolutely agree.
I've seen it more than 50 times and, unlike some other songs I've seen them play that much or more, it's one I'm always excited to hear. I will always feel a special connection to the song because I learned its title directly from Jeff after my first show at the Boston Garden in 1994 (along with "Immortality").
I learned the song's title directly from Ed....when I read the back of the CD. Does that count?

Sure, but how can you be sure Ed did the graphic design? I mean, who is Jerome Turner, really?
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

Probably my one gripe but only because I e seen it a bunch. Light Years made it worth the trip as did all the new stuff.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

I was there.  Save your sorriness for those who have to smell your hoagie breath!  :). Just kidding!  Clearly not your thing but Sac was awesome -- as was Pendulum.  To each their own.

It's up there for me...Corduroy was the first PJ song that made me pay very close attention. I started off a Soundgarden/STP fan and kind of ignored PJ because they were on MTV all the time.

Vitalogy was the first PJ album I bought and I still remember talking about it with the guys at work. A bunch of CPA nerds talking about Spin the Black Circle, etc.

About Sacramento, in my own pre- internet days, I used to be concerned that Pearl Jam wouldn't return to Sac, after that July 16, 1998 Sac. show where Ed was hit with someone's boot. That was a wild show!
It was good to see them Monday night. The afterglow 's still pleasantly present

And didn't Ed say something about Josh (I think) talking about backstage about how they liked the arena.  Hopefully they'll make it a regular stop!  I was thrilled not to have to drive home from Oakland or SF or (gulp) Shoreline.  (love Shoreline as a venue, but it's soooo far!!!)

Yes, they liked that it wasn't as far to the back of the arena so felt more intimate with the crowd.

( I love shoreline too, and it's far for me but it used to be a place I went to the most, so driving it...fine, until those couple of Warped Tours before those ended- the year they had Outside Lands, Sf, Warped Tour @ the shoreline, and a sporting event at the stadium near there, occurring the same day, plus road work at Pleasanton exit from 680, on the return? maybe FFDP, Megadeth a yr&1/2 ago was the last time, lol- & no lol. Sacramento was smooth, but I saw the road work set- ups on the other side driving back... It was a good day for a Monday with PJ )
