    Well I know after a certain number of prints, the screen is no good so they can only run a certain number. If they were to use the conventional manual screen print box, it would even be less - as quality goes down with every pass. I assume they use large high speed presses with digitally created plates, this does improve the output but I'm pretty sure the artists are aware of the collector value in printing low numbers. This doesnt account for all the test prints and ruffled/error prints that are sent in the trash - which seem to fetch more dollar for you ebay flippers.....so go dig in their trash cans!

    I noticed the other day when I as taking a look at my LA2 poster that the paper it was wrapped in was numbered 169.

    I realize that it does no one any good in trying to answer this question.....just an observation.

    as far as test prints go I would be very interested in any combos of Albany, Detroit, Camden 1, pitts, or East Ruth1 or NY as it says on the poster. Send me a PM :)

    Just got the SF3 poster. I know everyone hates this one but I gotta say I really like it. Maybe beacuse I was really into jets and planes when I was a little kid...

    I have the same feelings you do. It normally takes like 5-6 weeks for my 10c orders to get here. I just hope my TO poster makes it. My rearview mirror lp never made it. :-(

    I know how you feel. I was really looking forward to this one. I missed out on it at the show because we spent to long at the bar, and was happy to get it but once I opened it I was disappointed it is one of those half size posters. St. Paul posters were the same. I've had a difficult time finding frames for these. At least with the St. Paul posters there was 1 for each of the 2 nights so I mounted and framed them together and they turned out great. Not sure what I'm doing to do with the Chicago though.
