I'll start. Took a nice pic of my Hamilton Intra-Matic Auto Chrono on Saturday. I love the blue/white contrast and tiny seconds hand in the small left sub-dial. An amazing gift from my girlfriend and my first chronograph. And yes, I am aware it is on the wrong wrist. I'm a lefty.

EDIT: Pic looks fine before I post, but once posted its all zoomed and squashed. If anyone knows how to avoid this, let ya boy know.

I have a few nice pieces. My daily  is a 1974 Seiko 6105-8119 “Capt. Willard” that  my dad used to wear diving back in the 70’s. It sat in a drawer for almost 40 yrs until he gave it to
me a couple of years ago. I had it serviced, new crystal, and put a repro Uncle Seiko waffle band on it. Pretty rare to find in such great condition without any lume rot.

My quartz Tag Heuer Aquaracer.  I’ve had it almost 20yrs and it still looks new.

My 16610T Submariner. M serial  with engraved rehaut. The last of the pre-ceramic Subs.  A gift from my boss for 20yrs of aggravating him. I’ve had it 15 yrs, wear it all the time and it is in immaculate condition.

And yes, I like dive watches….

1964 Omega Seamaster 600. I found this one in my garage in a coffee can of old watches my wife’s grandfather had. I couldn’t believe it. I replaced the crystal and put a  new band on it. It runs super fast and needs a service badly.

Just buy a real Speedmaster. A classic that would last you the rest of your life. A Speedmaster sapphire sandwich on a leather band will be my next watch then I’ll be done.

Was about to chime in - my next big purchase (a long time from now) will certainly be a Speedy. Great looking watch, useful complication, Omega craftsmanship, cool history, and not too outrageously expensive. A damn near perfect watch.

Yes, but with a sapphire crystal and case back rather than hesolite crystal and steel case back.

So it makes it cheaper then I guess?

The reason I like the Swatch collab is because I am a little brutal w watches, lol.

    I think about $800 to $1000 difference.

Nice, my daily is a Seiko SRP777 "Turtle". This thing truly takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. Hardly any noticeable dings after years on construction sites.  Runs pretty much perfect.

Garmin is on my wrist, almost always, these days.  My Tag and Rolex sit in the safe.
Tag was everyday watch for 20 years,  great watch.
However, I track everything with my Garmin and am borderline obsessive about breaking down my runs, my sleep, and my workouts.
    Function over form, these days

Only thing holding me back from getting an Apple Watch/Garmin is knowing that i'd obsess over the numbers. Been running a lot more lately so I think i'll cave soon. What Garmin do you have?

If I actually wore watches, It would have been this one:

But I will only wear it when exercising I imagine, so it will be this one (when I find it for a good price):

Fenix 6 pro for me.  Had it for 2-3 years and I kniw there are newer models but it does pretty much everything I want.

If you want a bright, flashy modern AMOLED screen and is it in for the running, their current Forerunner series all have AMOLED screens and consists of these models:

    165, 265, 965

I don't really see for running what anything above 165 gives you extra except for a pricehike though.

I'm looking to try to buy the two year old "Forerunner 55" for cheap. It has the (now) old fashioned MIP screen with only 64 colours though. But seems to have everything I need for my running. And great battery life.

If you want one for everyday use with classical watch hands and a classic look, but also with Garmins smartwatch and training features, check out their Vivomove Trend. I posted it above. Seems to have all the running features one needs also. But is missing out on physical buttons which are good when using for running. And no internal GPS so need to bring a phone.

Two youtubers to check out for info are DesFit and DC Rainmaker. They do clear and to-the-point reviews of training watches.

Any guesses on what Mr. Vedder is wearing in the new Zane Lowe interview? White/orange dial on what appears to be a green leather strap.
