TicketMaster's Fan2Fan is now Fan2Bot

You can still pay for tickets on the secondary market. The biggest problem is the average joe can not sell these tickets for a small profit or even sell these tickets for face value if they wanted. This causes the market to have a monopoly with the professionals and the prices are much higher than they should be.
On top of that they are snatching up the good seats on fan to fan.
So now the average joe who is trying to do the right thing and sell for face as we are being forced to do on their platform is actually helping feed the secondary market.0 -
I was lightening quick about ten times. This sucks.I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0

When I missed one recently I thought to myself, "no human could have done that faster"...so it's nice to see a thread of people who agree.Appeared to be an animal, yet so polite.0

You should all just come to the Vancouver N2 show. Plenty of tickets to be had at face value, lol.

last tour I tried a timed drop to get some GA from a guy. we corresponded via text. I never saw them...he even sent me a pic of the "sold" update he got.0

Consumer is much better off with a secondary market available to them. I did not win tickets to Philly 1 or 2 but got tix for night 2. So for Night 1 i'm pretty much shit out of luck with this f2f bs. At least with MSG I can decide if I want to choose the price on the secondary market. I'd much prefer the secondary market being available than f2f.
I love the idea of it, but the implementation leaves a lot to be desired.

it'll never happen but going back to physical tickets that have to be picked up the day of would solve a lot of issues. now we have people with multiple accounts in their household putting in for tickets and people putting in for tickets that they may or may not plan on using. This show, another show, a show here and a show there.0

I see cheaper seats than the PJ Premium on TM, but is that a safe site to buy?Portland, OR (November 29, 2013) | Seattle, WA (December 06, 2013) | Leeds, UK (July 08, 2014) | St Paul, MN (October 19, 2014) | Denver, CO (October 22, 2014) | Mexico City, MX (November 28, 2015) | Miami (April 09, 2016) | Boston 1 (August 05, 2016) | Prague (July 01, 2018) | Krakow (July 03, 2018) | Berlin (July 05, 2018) | Barcelona (July 10, 2018) | Seattle Night 2 (August 10, 2018) | Missoula, MT (August 13, 2018) | Ohana Festival (September 26, 2021) | Los Angeles (May 06, 2022) | Frankfurt (June 28, 2022) | Copenhagen (July 05, 2022) | London Hyde Park (July 08, 2022) | London Hyde Park (July 09, 2022) | Budapest (July 12, 2022) | New York (September 11, 2022) | St Paul (September 02, 2023) | Chicago (September 05, 2023) | Ft. How does F2F work? I don’t need to use it as already have GA tickets for all my shows. Is there any way of being notified when tickets drop? Just wondering for future years0

Just when you think it couldn’t get worse it does.I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.0

Have tried to "transfer" tickets 3 times so far on random days in the middle of the night for different shows. Every single time when the tickets were listed, I saw them by refreshing, got them in the cart and they were sold in less than a second. I cannot believe a human being was sitting and hitting refresh at 3:45 am on a Thursday morning, or whatever. The speed at which they were bought suggests that bots are now sniping the F2F. Keep in mind this is NOT NY or IL shows where tickets can be sold over face, TM scalpers are now selling their entire TM account (burner accounts) with the tickets included. Just a heads up, the little guy is getting screwed again.
While that is generally the best time to try, any time still has risks.0 -

TM can set up multiple password-protected presales with access to only certain seats, so why not individual password-protected sales? I want to sell my tickets, they want to ensure I don't overcharge. Give me a password I can send to a buyer of my choosing. They log in, buy the tickets through the TM site, everyone wins!
Long answer: I'm sure there's some logic around fairness for all in why they don't. This simply promotes more people with high seniority putting in for all shows and making side deals for more money, rare merch, etc.Keeping prime seats artificially low in price while at the same time setting a much higher market rate with supply manipulation for PJ premium makes their prime seats sold for $180 close to stage - but actually worth $2000 according to their own standards, an unavoidable target for scalpers, now that they have figured out how to broker in non transferable states.
We as a community should come to agreement that the complex Pearl Jam ticketing system has systematically imploded. There are specific reasons why their broker and platinum prices are higher than any other artist not named Swift.0 -

Exactly. These prices are so overinflated it is a joke. Shame on PJ for enabling this and if they give a shit about their fans this will be the last time.0 -
I figured out what Error U504 is.... "these tickets are sold, but if you still want these seats, check out our partner site at PikTik " they are ready for you now.. "0
