That's a shame that Virgil passed. He was pretty young. One of my favorite WWF moments as a kid was him beat DiBiase at Summerslam '91 with Piper on commentary supporting him.

I think that the greatest ever is Kurt Angle.  I thought from the day he walked on, he knocked it out of the park.  Great character, great on the Mic, brought a ton of heat, was the best technical wrestler, took plenty of bumps, great matches, etc.

Yeah he was great. And you can tell all the other wrestlers respected the hell out of him because he has a lot of submission victories over guys who rarely (if ever) lost by submission. Including....

    Lesnar
    Hogan
    Austin
    Cena
    Michaels
    Undertaker

Why the hell did I think he was, you are right.  He was that Brooklyn brawler looking black jacket wearing before adorable.

    I will edit that.

Hell i loved Leaping Lenny Paffo, lol.

Bushwhackers I adored.  Them licking people in the crowd and stuff, lol.
    The Road Warriors and Demolition.
Jake the Snake was fun, Steamboat, Dino Bravo, George the Animal.

There was a lot of creativity in the 80's.

    in no particular order

    1. Stone Cold
    2. Rock
    3. Bret Hart
    4. Mr. Perfect
    5. Undertaker (first era)
    6. Jake Roberts
    7. Road Warriors
    8. Michael PS Hayes
    9. Scott Hall (Razor years and on)
    10. Macho Man

Obviously Hogan gets an honorable mention as my original #1. I was 10 when I saw him against Mr Wunderful. He was god. But as I grew older, grew out of it. Him turning heel was probably the biggest moment in wrestling history though.

The insane buildup that WWF used to do with new talent. I remember those vignettes of DiBiase, Mr Perfect, and Razor Ramon literally going on for MONTHS before they debuted.

honestly, I always thought it must be kinda scary for the other wrestler. could easily go wrong. he would go especially hard on the jobbers.

his feud with Jake Roberts was pretty awesome! Thought it was funny when Rude put a likeness picture of Jake's wife, Cheryl, on his wrestling tights

    Holy shit!!!

Raw last night was probably the best raw in like a decade or more!!

Rock is just on a different level

    amazing!!

love reigns but it seems rock is the true end of the story now and reigns just a chapter.

the final boss character is truely something special
