Question: I sat in this area like 5 or so years ago for Foo Fighters at Fenway and there were large speakers on stands that were sorta obstructing the view. For those that sat over in this section for PJ, they don't use the large speakers on stands in this section, correct? I just remember trying to watch the stage around the large speakers and equipment that were near the 3rd base dugout. Thx.

I got the luckiest and least luck of any lottery I've entered in a while. I missed out on what would have been my #1 priority Wrigley 2. But I got:

Vegas 2 - P2 seating - 207 Row D
Wrigley 1 - P1 seating - FLDR Row 9
NYC 1 - GA

Missed out on verified fan code....was looking for 3 for Wrigley N2...but that is a real long shot now. Weird feeling like I got the golden ticket (NYC GA) and missed out on what would have been my 1st priority had they still had us rank them.

I feel dumb not registering for today's sale. I didn't read it all well enough. I entered the tenclub drawing (unfulfilled...of course), but didn't enter this ticketmaster one because I figured there would have to be a general onsale...because there always is isn't there?

I don’t think there is a general sale, sadly. In my experience, you don’t get a before the sale, you never get one and the only tickets available at any point are Premium.

You're right. There's not. I'm saying that since every other concert I've been to has had one, I assumed (foolishly) that this would too. My plan if I lost the tenclub sale (which I did) was to grab a nosebleed in the general public sale, but like you said, there isn't one.

I haven't seen a traditional public sale in a long while. I think they overloaded TM's website. Now it's a draw for who gets a chance to buy, and you still go into a queue.

I miss the early days of the internet, where most people didn't know how to use computers. So many first 10 rows tickets to show because most people were still calling in, or waiting in line in person

In the early aughts I used to buy tickets on eBay. Got excellent seats below face a bunch of times.

It was different. It wasn’t a Ticketmaster link. It took me to the redsox mlb.com page that had been created for Pearl Jam. I entered the code and it showed everything. I don’t know how many unique codes went out, but I was shocked by the number of seats available.

I missed on night 2 for Boston on the lottery. GA for night 1.

Was there a waiting room? I’m trying to plan my attack for wrigley.

A Sox season ticket holder here was nice enough to share a code yesterday that I was able to use. I paid it forward by donating money to the Jimmy Fund. Whoever used my code today can maybe do the same.

Did verified just now. Scored 3 tickets for Philly N1 and my sister scored 3 for Philly N2! 😅

Seemed to be a decent amount of tickets, but I just went upper deck lower rows in middle is arena. Lost a ticket on my first batch, but pulled all 3 on the next! My sister had a bit more trouble, but she managed it! All face value.

For Pearl Jam? You may be right. I can't even recall. According to an old email, I got tickets to Camden in 2022 through "Tickets today" which is associated with Ticketmaster, but I'm not sure if that was a presale or public sale.

No, all shows now. I think TM stopped doing the free for all general sales (at least for big acts). I don't think I've bought tickets to a show that didn't use verified fan since before covid. Could be a coincidence.

Good on you ... and I think this means we'll have the same thing happen for Wrigley. So if anyone has codes they aren't planning on using for Wrigley or Fenway, please post them here if you can.
