Its all subjective right? My favorite albums can be whatever I like right? Its all preference. Its not a list of "the greatest albums of all time" but a list of your favorite albums and both Clarity and Yourself or Someone Like You were pretty influential for me for different reasons. Clarity is obviously considered a more critically acclaimed album but for these lists and to me that is irrelevant. You can like whatever you like and I won't judge you. I might laugh a little, but won't judge :)

That was meant to be said in my Liam Gallagher voice. Im just messin around. It's okay...Yes, music is generally subjective. Though something like me playing a guitar and singing an original is objectively bad. There's some stuff that has slipped into commercial production that I have a hard time finding any redeeming qualities with as well, but I do get your point.

I did compliment your list in case you didnt notice.

    I appreciate the compliment too!
I was just restating how the original objective of these lists was not really to list what you think are the gaoat but to list your personal favorite albums without fear of persecution or ridicule. You could put Creed or Nickleback on there for all I care, not personally my cup of tea at all for a lot of reasons, but if thats your thing and you like it who am I to care or prevent you from liking it. I agree with you that a lot of mainstream/commercial music is personally unappealing to me as well but I know plenty of people who listen to the radio or "commercial" music and love it and there are a few instances where I love some stuff that is considered by many, shall I say "music snobs" to be music they consider to be horrible or stuff they would only ever listen to as a "guilt pleasure" but Im not ashamed to like some classic rock or 90s bands that many people don't dig for one reason or another.

My list was WAY too long.  So here's my favorite album by 10 favorite artists/bands, alpha by artist:

    Albert Ayler:  Bells
    Larry Coryell:  Coryell
    Dinosaur Jr/ J Mascis/ Lou Barlow:  Farm
The Dream Syndicate? Steve Wynne:  How Did I Find Myself Here?
Juliana Hatfield/ Blake Babies:  Innocence and Experience
The Jimi Hendrix Experience:  Are You Experienced
    Lou Reed:  New York
Lee Renaldo:  Last Night on Earth
The Replacements/ Paul Westerberg:  Let it Be
Neil Young/ Crazy Horse: Ragged Glory

All selection above, both artist and LP, subject to change at a moment's notice because lists like these are impossible.  I was just listening to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.  That band needs to be on this list.  And R.E.M., The Rolling Stones, Dylan, Miles, The Who, Sun Ra, Coltrane, Ornette Coleman, Nils Lofgren, Rain Parade, The Bongos, Ramones, Bowie, Cream, Eno, Sandy Bull, John Mayall, Harvey Mandel, Japan, Jethro Tull..  oh and what's their name... Pearl something... etc...yeah!
