    I wonder if the apparent choice of the February 13 announcement date was based on something as simple as, "Let's wait until after the Super Bowl." Basically, there's this thing that sucks up a lot of oxygen in the culture, so let's wait until that's over and maybe the news has a little less chance of being drowned out.

    Of course, this will all be obsolete thinking when Taylor, Travis, Usher and the ghosts of Vince Lombardi and Abraham Lincoln join forces on Sunday to endorse Joe Biden, thus breaking the internet for at least the rest of the week...

    Well played sir. But generally, I think you’re right. There’s a vacuum Monday night going into the rest of the week. The news will cover the game highlights heavily on Monday during the day but that will fade by Tuesday am.

    My 15 year old daughter tells me Taylor Swift's favorite number is 13.  Brock Purdy wears number 13.  The 49ers are playing, 4+9 is 13.  This is Super Bowl 58, 5+8 is 13, the super bowl is on 2/11 (2+11 =13), and now PJ is making a big announcement on the 13th?!

    btw dark matter is def clip 3 from the metal door sessions. You hear the chorus in the video. So obvious.
