    I got about a dozen gorgeous professional shots of him from Vancouver just by Googling photos from the show. I'm sorry, I just right clicked, and don't remember the place I got them from, but Google works for everyone!!!!

    Let's hope some pro was around with lenses blazes when Mr. McCready made his appearance...

    You know, in Eddie's defense, I don't think the ban has anything to do with vanity, I think he just didn't want that distraction going on. I realize I'm probably all alone on this, but I have had it, whether I'm at a concert or the movies or a play or whatever, with people and their toys -- texting, checking messages, answering calls, you can even hear the damn things vibrate. Unless you are waiting for a kidney to become available, you can put them away for TWO WHOLE HOURS.

    I want to see how Mike looked, too, I miss a lot, but really, the only 2008 pic we have of him is the one that one of the posters here got in San Diego that Mike's wife took, isn't it? I don't want to wait for the benefit photos!

    I completely understand why he doesn't want photos and I'm sure you're right that it's because of the huge distraction. But I still wanna see.... :D:D:D

    Yes. Though I only went to Berk #1, there were some flashes. At the very end, there were quite a lot likely due to the fact that people didn't care about getting caught.

    Regarding audio recording - I will be surprised if someone doesn't put a recording on the internet. It would have been easy to record the show. Much easier than taking a picture and having some security guard bug you.

    OH MY GOD! The bat wings are back!! They haven't dissappeared! I really hope they make a reappearance in 08, they were so cool!

    There was a thread a while ago about what happened to them, which never got answered, I thought that they were given away as a gift... guess not :)

    why does EV have an old school reel-to-reel reacorder onstage? from the looks of this picture it *appears* the smaller mic on EV's stand is connected to the recorder:

    is he recording with that reel or is it used for ARCH? i vaguely remember seeing it onstage in mansfield III when he performed ARCH, just can't remember...

    A review I saw for Vancouver said the tape deck was used for backing music for the Hard Sun encore.

    The suitcase thing on the chair to Ed's right is the machine for arc and the reel to reel on his left is backing tracks for hard sun. I heard him do arc on the 03 tour and it sounds so much better now.

    Perhaps the joke is on all of us... those of us who aren't there for being jealous of NO SHOW... and those who got tickets, turned up and were treated to a three hour performance by Liam Finn... and they think we're stupid huh? :cool:
