What a smoking show and crowd! I’ve commented on here before that the ‘96 run of San Sebastián and Cascais x2 might be the best I’ve ever heard the band….and the San Sebastián show in 2000 didn’t disappoint. Eddie even refers to ‘96 right before Insignificance.

Some highlights:
- Release and the whole beginning of the show
- Insignificance - the song was less than 2 weeks old and the crowd goes wild 
- FAITHFUL - might be the best version I’ve ever heard. When the camera goes on the crowd…have you ever seen a crowd go like that for this song??

    I’m not a big fan of how they sound on the 2000 bootlegs but god damn that video of the show is fire. 
    This was the 3rd show of the Europe tour, 5th overall if you include the warm up shows in Seattle and Vancouver.

    I don’t think they really got the crowd mixed in well until 2005/2006. Spectrum ‘03 is considered one of the loudest shows, and it doesn’t translate.

    Yes! I think after listening to audience bootlegs for so long, my ears were confused by the early official bootleg mixes.

    Is this the show they mess up alive terribly?

    side note: San Sebastián could be the prettiest city I ve ever been to.  visited there in July of 2000.
