CLE or BUF / DET would be the best theater, but I think it will be BAL vs DAL.

I’d love for it to be buffalo but, to me, their rushing attack looked pathetic last night. aberration or the norm?

since I’m a deshaun hater (don’t start, mrussell), it would be funny to see the browns make the SB without him.

    definitely, two long suffering fanbases.
You can hate on Watson.. just don't hate on the Browns for Watson.

But it would be ironic for Flacco to take them there, which would likely mean going through Baltimore and Houston.  So it would be funny in multiple ways.

But I don't think most people understand the depth of injuries the Browns are suffering.  28% of its opening day roster is on IR.  We are on tackles number 4 and 5 and that has made the running game anemic.  Even a healthy Nick Chubb couldn't save the running offense.  I think the Browns beat Houston but that's it.

Hats off to the AFC North for being "the first division since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970 to have EVERY single team finish above .500", and furthermore, "the first division in 88 YEARS to put every team over .500."  As much as I enjoy hating on the opponents, I do take some pride in being a part of a solid division.

Just look at the out of division records for those teams.  15-12 in conference and 16-4 against the NFC.  And the AFC North played the NFC West this year.  Very impressive.  Very good teams.

surprised the NFC East never did when Johnson, Parcells, Gibbs and Vermeil were roaming the sidelines. They probably didn’t all overlap and, if I had to guess, it would probably be the iggles below .500

Man you are old. Vermeil left the Eagles like 7 or 8 years before Jimmy came to the Cowboys.

The correct answer to your question, however, would be the St Louis/Phoenix/Arizona Cardinals. I think they were .500 or worse from early 80's to late 90's...

Five teams to a division back then, so the Cardinals were in the mix.  I have to believe it was much tougher with five.

I have no recollection of the Cardinals being in “our” division. I must be getting old.

25-30 years ago, watching Sportscenter was a daily thing.  During Baseball season I loved Baseball Tonight.
It was a good time for those programs.

    Fucking Swami.

That's wild.  I'd take him as Bears coach in a heartbeat.  These owners just love firing coaches.
