So, is next years press cycle gonna be "longform podcast interview" heavy?

From magazine interviews, to late night talk shows to having Judd Apatow interview them on their own channel, will the next year's press cycle focus on what's in now for people pushing stuff - podcast (and stuff like it) interviews? They all have done some, and Eddie even did Howard Stern.

But will next year see them pursue stuff like:

WTF with Marc Maron
Fly on the Wall with Dana Carvey and David Spade
Conan O' Brien needs a friend
Rick Beato (Which Matt has already done)
Gibson Icons
The Pedals Show
Drumeo (not that interview heavy though)
Justin Hawkins Rides Again (not that interview heavy though, but I'm sure he on his own accord will talk about the single)
Zane Lowes Apple music-thing
Rick Rubins podcast

I sure hope so! I enjoyed the pod Ed & Jeff did with Bill Simmons. Long form podcasts are so much more engaging and entertaining. People hate on Zane Lowe, but I find his interview style and questions really well thought out. I wonder how a pod would be with Joe Rogan. He's had on everyone from James Hetfield, Sturgill Simpson, to David Lee Roth.

I hope the band does Stern and performs there. Maybe he'll do a special time so they can have it midday or maybe afternoon. Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend.
As for tv. I hope they do SNL. It will be their 5th time and they will join the 5 timers club. I would like to see them perform on Kimmel on the outdoor stage. I'm not sure what the format will be on the new Taylor Tomlinson late night show. But that would be a nice gig.

I would love more long form interviews. Ed would be great on Conan Needs a Friend. I've been hoping he would do WTF at some point too. I know Maron has kind of been dismissive of the band in the past, but I think he'd have at least a somewhat different opinion after a sit down conversation.

For the new record I hope the band gets to do more PJ Radio SiriusXM specials & promos. Use the media for doing live interviews and playing demos from their new record. More conversations and spotlights.
