I read some threads here and think, WWHS. I know, in some instances, what she would say. I could rely on those responses cracking me up. In other instances, I do not know...but am curious.
Getting a text alert to a particularly funny thought from Hedo on a thread is missed.
I actually kept my old phone just so I dont lose those texts. (And, some voicemails from another 'degen from up north' friend, here.) Changing service providers made sense but I am not ready to give up those things I lost when changing...so I will occasionally charge up an old phone and scroll.

Made me think of Hedo and Chadwick.
The first law of thermodynamics states that energy cannot be created or destroyed. It can only change forms. Life on Earth springs from the light and heat of the sun. For all intents and purposes the massive radiance of the star is immortal. It cannot be deplatformed, at least not for another five billion years. What it can and does do is to be gainfully employed or uselessly squandered, which is the second law of thermodynamics—the tendency of entropy to increase as energy changes forms. The sun’s energy makes its way on Earth through a never-ending series of transformations. Matter into mind, mind into matter, acorn into oak tree, oak tree into log, log into fire, fire into smoke and ashes.

I am thankful to have had the chance to get to know Hedo, both on here and in person. If she were still with us I know she would be cozied up at home with Dan and the kitties today, looking forward to ordering in something from one of their favourite restaurants.
