Same here kick myself every time I think about the 98 tour and not getting those posters.  I still remember walking by the merch table and looking at the very short line in todays world of mech lines thinking no way I am waiting in that just to buy something.  Eddie wouldn't do that I bet, I  would think to myself.  Just young and stupid, I also did not join the fanclub until 20xx cause I guess I was too cool to join a fan club as well...

  • I'm just wondering who came up with these prices  I bought a MSG 5/21 2010 Donkey Kong at the show loved it and never thought I would sell it   UNTIL I saw how much people  were paying for it. I sold it for 1300 dollars when I saw the aluminum version go up for sale ..and now have the aluminum one on my wall ( and will not part with this one ) for my original investment of 35 dollars

I look at my framed St. Louis 98 poster on my wall everyday and remember just how amazing that 98 tour was. Two shows at Alpine Valley, Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City, and ended the summer with Indianapolis. 6 amazing shows in two short months before I turned 21. Waiting in line for a poster or merchandise was not the difficult task it is today... it was finding someone to buy you a beer before the show started! :)

But still the best tour posters of all the tours!
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

I used push pins on my 98 Chicago/East Troy poster.  :open_mouth:

Also, I used tape at some point. I have it framed, now, so most of those blemishes are hidden, and I would never part with it.  But still haha.

Also, I wish there were reprints of the 2000 tour.

Speaking of which, I dont see any info on Indy 2000, Nashville 2000, or East Troy 2000.   I know the Chicago one was that Clown that was was removed by the band, so only a few sold.  I dont think there were posters for Indy or Nashville, right?

No print for DC 2000 either.
I always wondered if there was a missing link for that show as well...since they like to get political around these parts 🤷🏻‍♂️

What was the story behind those? The Atlanta one has the wrong date on it.

Ah, thanks. Interesting story. I actually think it would be cool for 10C to do a series of era-similar posters for shows that never had one.

I didn’t think much of it until I saw it in person. Colours really pop. Definitely a solid poster.

To be fair it's listed as buy it now.   That's what someone is trying to get for it. doesn't mean they will be able to sell it.   It's pretty common for ebay and discogs to have listing prices that no sane person would actually pay :)

Me too... I'd love a throwback poster for Cincy and Columbus 2000.
