FA is a horrible measure of defensive performance. Not that I'm an expert on Panda at D, but that's a joke of a stat.

Well, Panda was no slouch at the hot corner. Very athletic for a husky fellow. Word was, he could dunk a basketball.

    RIP Brooks Robinson.
Great defensive player. One of the best ever.
He is the best 3rd baseman defensively ever.  No slouch behind the plate either.  16 straight Gold Gloves.  The human vacuum cleaner.

    RIP

Definitely the greatest defensive 3B of all time but not the greatest 3B of all time

I gotta say MLB.tv is an absolute steal if you get it in August. I think I paid $35 for the rest of the season? Getting to watch the Cubs fall to pieces, Dodgers game, Marlins game, and this stellar Houston/Seattle game at the same time is pretty great.

Marlins are going to win the 3rd wild card. They could go all the way

I hope the Marlins do well. I didn't know Kim Ng well, but we graduated from the same junior high school and high school, same grade.

Buddy of mine went out with her sister when she was with the Dodgers. Anytime they were in Philly we got seats behind LA's dugout. I had her sign a ball for me, haha, she's pretty great!

world class douchebag schilling announced tim wakefield has cancer, without tim’s permission. I wish tim (and, apparently, his wfe) the best.

this got me thinking….is anyone still plying the knuckleball craft in MLB?

I have literally begged my sister to get her son to learn it.  Told her if he gets it he will be in the majors, lol.
