My favorite versions are 10/1/05 (the second Borgata show). Crowd sings the intro, Mike goes off on a long solo, the song comes back with an Ed improv...the band is tight on this one
The other version is from the second Monkey Wrench broadcast. Mike's solo is a slow, bluesy rocker--intense and soulful. Two different versions both great in their own way. Love how the band can "reinvent" songs and still make them meaningful.0 -
"I'd rather be with an animal." "Those that can be trusted can change their mind." "The in between is mine." "If I don't lose control, explore and not explode, a preternatural other plane with the power to maintain." "Yeh this is living." "Life is what you make it."0

Rochester 94...most intense version I have ever heard.0

Another gem, but the video is what makes it legendary. I find that just listening to it on disc is not quite as intense. But the video: A+Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"

Have to agree with the 4-3-94 (Atlanta). By the way, I am searching for video of this show and wondered if anyone has ever seen any. IMO this is their greatest concert I have ever heard and would LOVE to see it. Please let me know.
Thanks.Current Album rankings: Pearl Jam, No Code, Ten, Yield, Riot Act, Binaural, Vitalogy, VS, Lost Dogs.
Top 5: Release, Come Back, Marker In The Sand, Spin The Black Circle, Low Light0 -
