Absolutely astonishing set list and another fantastic performance by the fellas.  I can’t believe how many songs in this set are in my top 10 fave PJ songs (Release, Faithfull, Animal, In My Tree, RVM) and an insane rarity too (God’s Dice!!!!).  Throw Your Arms Around me is def one of my favorite covers - it was on a mix tape (an actual tape) I made for my then girlfriend at 15 years old - we are now married 20 years with 3 amazing kids.  Have to admit I welled up during that one (and when the 9 year old “first show” birthday girl hugged her Dad).  Just needed Come Back for the “Bear Trilogy” (you heard it here first). Simply phenomenal show!!!  I think this is my favor of the first 3 (but Sat STP crowd edged out tonight).  Still….WE ALL BELIEVE!!

Went in with no expectations, yet that was a surprising set. So many highlights. Definitely need the boot. I’d listen to it now.

Night 1 was solid - glad to get Quick Escape and Retrograde from Gigaton again, lots of other songs I can’t remember how many years it’s been since hearing them live. Chelios cameo, Eddie rocking some Jordans, band sounded great. RVM dedication was great to see.

Question is, where do they go with night 2?
  • Have to agree with previous reviews. Show was full of unexpected tunes which was freaking awesome. Flowed reallllly well for the main set
    "So much it dont show"
  • Damn… this set is up there with Camden 2022. Without a doubt one of the best setlist in a long, long time. Super jealous I was not at this one.

Ed's vulnerability. Was particularly moving tonight.  I am a touch honored he shares such deep and meaningful parts of his life with us.  His mood was infectious in the best way.

A real cool security  guard hooked me up!  Thanks man!
  • Amazing set but the energy was off in the 300s. Not many people on their feet. Heard someone near me threaten violence on a group that were standing up. Same guy complained that they didn't play the "popular songs" as they busted into faithful and later said that they were "playing fake music" during RVM.
  • Truly special, and pure awesome 🙏 ♥️

Nothing worse than getting stuck in a section like that. As much as you’d like to ignore it and enjoy yourself, it’s incredibly difficult to do that. Sorry to hear.
  • Idk, was a bit underwhelmed this time.

Mainly with pace of play. Seemed nearly every song was getting an introduction of sorts. So by the time a song kicked off, any energy built up from prior song was dead. Killed momentum and lost the crowds in 200 and 300 sections.

I realized this many years ago that the location and person that goes with you plays a large roll in the experience. I’ve been at those shows during 2010’s and you’re in the show but up top  in section 200 or 300 and it isn’t all die hards like the pit or most things close to the stage.
With that is also who you go with as I’ve been with good friends and gfs and they just don’t get, enjoy, respect the music of this band as I do and it can make for an awkward time. One of the best shows I ever went to was Oakland 2013 where they played for like 3hr20min and I had gotten my ticket from a 10C member and never met him until that day and we were 2-3 rows on Mikes side the whole show and had the greatest conversations before the show and I’m between encores but love for the same band is a powerful thing amongst strangers.
Those last 2 at Oakland last year were quite unique and I’ll pay more for closer sets but truly only for this band.
