I just really truly hope they shake up the encore.. the format of Alive, Ritfw/baba, YB to close is stale as fuck. You used to be able to stay for a whole PJ show. Now you can safely beat traffic.

Leave halfway thru alive when the lights come on to prove a point.

I wouldn’t be shocked to see All or None pop up after its appearance in Last of Us. Would love to see them play more Riot Act in general but not holding my breath.

Definitely this.  I'm not one to say don't play the hits, but how about move them around the set list at different times? Used to be awesome back in the day to hear songs like RVM or Alive early in the set.    Always thought Evenflow would work great at the end as well.

Possible Ed preset prior to the opening bands?

Sure hope so.  Was cool to see him come out early in Oakland last year.

Evenflow was an encore one closer at a show in 2006. Any bootleg studs know which show that is?

I predict a similar format to 2022. Cities 2x shows get 24-25 song setlists and 8 song switch outs per show.
    Indy gets 28 songs.
1-2 songs from the upcoming album.
    45 unique songs total.

Man, I feel like a buzzkill. Hope I'm wrong.

I think the same. Though I think in the 2 date city shows there will only be 2-3 repeats (as per London last year). Indy will be the best show

Looking back at the LA shows last year, there were 6 repeats from night 1 & 2. Hopefully it's not that many this time.

I predict an acoustic set to start one of the Chicago shows.
I hope you're right. The four seated acoustic numbers to start each of last year's shows were a perfect way to get the motor humming, IMO
I really like the gut punch of a high energy second song (Release, Last Exit is my favorite opening combo). BUT the 3-4 slower song opener gives them the opportunity to include more of some faves like Hard to Imagine, Present Tense, Sleight of Hand, Garden, Wash, etc. that can be hard to sprinkle in the set without breaking the momentum, sometimes. So I like that too.

I LOVED the MSG opening sequence of Release, Garden, Come Back, Present Tense.
Come Back is not one of my top songs, but its special to many, and So appropriate for 9/11.

Maybe 2 "openers" is a good compromise?

Not sure why...but I've been feeling this too.
I have been dreaming this. On N2, of course, because Thursdays are meant for such things.

My prediction is Release to open Chicago night one and Garden acoustic night 2
