What’s everyone’s ‘go to’ White Stripes album. I own elephant but hadn’t spun it much of late, and I know a few of their popular tunes. What do people recommend?

They’re all quite good in my opinion, but Icky Thump and White Blood Cells are both excellent, if you’re looking for something else.

I think Get Behind Me Satan is the best.

White Blood Cells>Elephant>GBMS is a great run.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations, looks like I may have to work through all of them slowly. Does any particular album rock more? Any more mellow? Experimental? Or do they all tend to have a good mix?

I think Satan is most experimental and mellow, but they’re all within roughly the same stylistic range.

$150 for the vinyl seems super steep, no?  I don't know anything about the fancy production but curious how much of a difference it really is.

They are top tier pressings. The difference can be noticeable on better than average systems. They've had some QC issues on a few of the past releases (Miles Davis KOB 33 in particular), but it appears they have been sorted out because their A Love Supreme pressing is getting fantastic reviews.

But yeah, these are $100 records at most.
