Don’t listen to him man, he’s just a troll. Anyone who was around in the 90’s knows for sure that Evenflow was a catchy tune, also.Commy said:

The rest of the album was unlistenable to me."Full Moon Empty Heart" remains one of my favorite songs to this day....All those who seek to destroy the liberties of a democratic nation ought to know that war is the surest and shortest means to accomplish it.0

I would throw The Juliana Hatfield Three's "My Sister" as one hit wonder. Maybe a few minor hit singles like Spin the Bottle or Universal Heart Beat

In her book, she intersperses various stories about how she developed her love of music, a very interesting/revealing story about her mother's affair with Mountain bassist and multi-instrumentalist Felix Pappalardi, a slightly nervous telling of the time Henry Rollins put up Blake Babies in his house for a few days (which is rumored to likely have led to her writing the song "President Garfield" from same album as "My Sister"- Garfield is Rollins' surname)-- all of that sandwiched between nicely detailed chapters involving The Blake Baby on tour. One very cool story in her book is about the song eeriepadave mentioned, "Spin the Bottle". She was inspired by P. J. Harvey to write a danceable, snappy tune in 5/4 time, no easy task. And what a fine success! That tune's easy groove belies the unusual timing. But if you listen to it and count it out-- one two three four five, one two three four five, one two three four five-- it simply grooves.I like "My Sister", but for me it's probably at least halfway down my list of favorites from Become What You Are, one of my favorite albums of Hatfield's. It was recently re-issued on vinyl through American Laundromat Records and that pressing sounds fantastic!

I would put Del Amitri "Roll to Me" in here as well. Least in the US i would consider them maybe a one hit wonder. "Always the Last to Know" was kinda popular I suppose. More hits outside the U.S.

A few of the guys in Spacehog lived in my neighborhood as they were coming up. I saw them a few times in smaller venues and got to be friends with the drummer. He was a really nice guy. I remember going to a party at the guitar players apartment once. Then of course, I lost touch with them as they got bigger, and the lead singer married Liv Tyler.hihobibo said:
I know Spacehog was a one hit band, but I really enjoyed that entire album. Surprised they never got that second radio hit, because I listened to that CD all the way through so many times.TheBeardedFellow said:Spacehog - In the Meantime

and is life in NY like this for everybody? lol.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0
