    First tour without Ace
I saw the L.A. show on this tour....Motley Crue opened.
You saw Vintage Crue.  This was just before Shout came out.
I got to see them at the Whisky 'a go go in Hollywood right before they released their first album on an indie label.  Also saw Metallica open for Saxon at the same venue....the good old days of Sunset Strip metal!

Neil Young & Crazy Horse in 2001, with The Black Crowes opening.

Had an amazing sounding boot of it (with the cover above). It's up on NYA now also. 2001 was a great tour.

First show was NY and Crazy Horse?!  Man, that is a killer way to start a concert resume.  Nice!

First show was Alabama and Charlie Daniels Band went with my mom I was 9. It was back when you could smoke indoors and I remember my mom made the woman in front of us put out her cigarette.

    That must have been fun!
I saw plenty of music on the strip, but 10 years too late for this.

Great White, opener was Whitesnake.  1988, maybe?  It was awesome, I was totally into Whitesnake and had a blast.
Do you remember if Steve Vai was with them at this time?
I don't think he was with them then....not 100%, though.

It was 38 years ago I'm sure he played it just don't remember. Only things I remember is the woman smoking and the singer for Alabama spinning around while singing.

My first concert was a local band named Violet Fox. Circa 1985. They played in a movie theater that had a small stage. My friend's mom dropped us off and picked us up after.

I had no idea who they were, and the only reason I still remember it was that the lead singer kept chanting, 'Violet Fox, fuckin' rocks!'
I was probably around 14 at the time, and I thought that was really cool.

First arena show was Def Leppard at the Hartford Civic Center in '87.

My first show. Eddie joined Neil on stage for Rocking in The Free World.

Nirvana would have been my second show.

Wow.  That Nirvana ticket is something else.  He was passed by that time.

Yeah, at the time it was thought that it was the actual date of his death as its the date that he was found. The stubs were supposedly selling for hundreds of pounds. The show its self was already postponed due to the Rome incident.
