kind of hard to take him seriously when he was basically on his knees for trump just 2 years ago.Someone needs to take on trump. These endless left leaning topics, here, on Reddit, are what is a complete waste of time…liberals circle jerking around their hatred of trump.
check out some of Christie’s attacks yesterday. This message needs to get out, and be spoken by someone who is Republican. Yes, he will lose, but this attack needs to happen.
you do not simply wash off the stain and smell of being a trump surrogate.Especially since it looks like trump is getting indicted, someone needs to call him a criminal from inside the bubble.Preferably if he is getting indicted, charges linking him to the deaths of Capitol police officers would have been the best path. Not sure the right is going to care whatsoever about the docs case.
this is a potentially dangerous situation as trump can seriously win, and he’d be a hundred times more dangerous as president than seven years ago. Christie deserves some credit so far. But the left continues its goofies. Tweets like mueller she wrote actually helps the right. I thought this’d be obvi, but silly me.

I liked him as governor prior to the bridge thing, however I will never vote for him due to his previous support for Trump. HAVING SAID THAT...liking his campaign and am praying Trump doesn't dodge the debates because Christie will destroy him up there.www.myspace.com0

HAVING SAID THAT...liking his campaign and am praying Trump doesn't dodge the debates because Christie will destroy him up there.I lived in NJ at that time, and I liked him, too. I thought he wasted a ton of political capital supporting TFG, and the whole Bridgegate scandal was gross and petty. And Election Night is pretty late in the game to abandon the orange one, but I'm sticking firmly to my "better late than never" philosophy, because we need everyone we can get onboard. But, yeah, THAT SAID, when I look at the field, the phrase I keep front and center in my mind is "Compared to what?"I think Christie is a smart guy. I think he's rational. I don't think he would hand Ukraine over to Putin, pull out of NATO, or load all of the queer people in the country onto truck and haul them away for elimination or re-education. Would I like all of his policies? Probably not. Would I start turning off the TV when he was on there yelling at us? Yeah, sure. BUT: I wouldn't be losing sleep worrying about whether he decided in a fit of pique to start a war, or worrying about which rights he had decided to strip from whom today. It's a low bar, I admit; but I'm not the person who dug a trench in the bottom of the Grand Canyon and dropped the bar into it. So, since I'm stuck in the stupidest possible timeline, and I'm currently living in a red state where I will have to register as a Republican and vote in the GOP primary if I want to have any impact, I am sizing up the GOP field and looking for the least-worst option. Who could I live with? Who will not try to suspend the Constitution? Whose election would not require me to have an exfil plan to move my kid out of the country to safety? I'll be voting in the GOP primary for someone who meets those very basic requirements; I think Christie could do that. All those who seek to destroy the liberties of a democratic nation ought to know that war is the surest and shortest means to accomplish it.0

It's possible. The question for so many of these candidates is, WHY? Why are they doing this? Are they delusional? Do they know something we don't? Are they just in it for the grift? Will Christie peel off MAGA voters? No. I think he *might* know enough about how DOJ works that he sees TFG trying to campaign from behind bars. He -- and others -- might be betting that a conviction would cause some people to abandon TFG.I think what we need to keep in mind is that TFG is the frontrunner but has not locked up the majority of GOP votes. So it's possible -- although right now, I feel like I'm stuck in a 2015 doom loop -- that the rest of the GOP could unite around another candidate and primary that giant orange ass.I just want to be clear: I'll be voting for Biden in the general election. But my state will be going red in the general no matter what I do, so my chance to make a difference is in the GOP primary. I want to vote for the least-worst option in that election, and out of the current clown car of candidates, Christie is a front-runner for least-worst option. All those who seek to destroy the liberties of a democratic nation ought to know that war is the surest and shortest means to accomplish it.0
