Fall tour announcement maybe coming next week
There have been some minor changes to the website, I think you're right.

I have to say though, I'm not terribly inspired by the setlist they played at the two recent festivals.
Yea I may actually hold off on buying tickets until I see the setlist. It better be drastically different from the last tour or I won’t waste my money.

hr 40 at sonic temple. 3 from FI. eats up a big chunk of time in a shortened set, no?

Throw Pushit in there, and that's almost 50% of the stage time.

Longer songs = fewer songs played... nothing new there.

I'm more thinking about the selection of songs... 2022's setlist was like a wet dream with all the deep cuts. The two setlists from this year are a return to their MO from years past, which I more or less expected.

I'm under the impression they're swinging through New England (head a rumor about Uncasville for 11/10 or 11/11), I'll definitely do at least one show if they'll be within driving distance.

I'm wrong the tour announcement rumor from fourtheye and the guy who talked to Adam is from Reddit. 50 shows sounds a bit too high

I think Danny mentioned 50 or so dates too, and Maynard mentioned touring this fall and winter of 2024; this would be similar to what they tried to do in 2019-2020 which would have worked out to around 50 NA dates of the pandemic hadn’t shut them down.

Had a VIP ticket for the canceled Long Island gig & a hotel right next to the venue. 🤬

The 50 is definitely possible if it goes into 24. I saw them in November of 19 ahead of the shutdown which is hard to believe is almost 4 years ago

US and Canada tour! I can't see paying 54.99 for tool army membership per year

I'm grandfathered in from back when they did lifetime memberships... otherwise I wouldn't do it.

Although, unlike Pearl Jam, there's no cutoff for memberships and presale tickets. You can buy a TA membership up right up until the ticket sale and get access. They'll take your money, they dgaf.

With this new website layout, they have a 'delete account and membership' option directly above where you log out.

That's absolutely by design... You know they're hoping a few of us who were grandfathered in mistakenly cancel and have to go w/ the annual membership (which went up $5 because of course it did)

Tickets wise does Tool Army just get you access to VIP passes?

How much does it help getting tickets?

I think 2022 was the first time they offered presale tickets outside of the VIP packages.. I didn't take advantage of it, but they're pushing it as a feature more prominently than before, so I have to imagine it will be offered again.

Interesting they indicate "early" access to vip, Implying non members will have access.

One of the worst things with bands and touring, is that key details left out until last days, making planning difficult

For those not interested in the exclusive merch, not sure why we'd drop $55/year on TA

IIRC, they have opened up VIP to non members in the past if they don't sell out to the fanclub. But I don't think that's happened for a few years.

& the memberships are all about the tickets... the exclusive merch is mostly crap. The skull cap is great but everything else is garbage. (& I don't know if they're offering the skull cap anymore... the cheap bastards)
