Bang for your buck? seating vs pricing

I can't respond to this poll until we know our new seats.0

Except that’s not option 2mace1229 said:
That sounds like option 2. You're okay with the price if it were better seats.Kevinman said:What about disappointed with my seats and think the price was too high. The price I paid should have put me in better seats, not pay more for better seats.I am lost, I'm no guide, but I'm by your side0 -
I somehow got option 1, so obviously happy. But even so, the “(also, fuck dynamic premium pricing)” should be at the end of all the options.0

What is fair price? Band has been around for 30+ years, sell out every show. They could/should charge a lot more at their age, reputation. We as fans for 30 years, should have more money than we did in high school. People complain about pricing then spend a fortune on a poster. Lawn ticket at Alpine 2000 was like $20. They could have charged $60 then.Chicago 6/29/98, Alpine Valley(EV) 6/13/99, Alpine Valley 10/08/00, Chicago 10/09/00, Phoenix 10/20/00, Orlando 4/12/03, Tampa 4/13/03, San Diego 6/05/03, Vegas 6/06/03, Phoenix 6/07/03, Chicago 6/18/03, Alpine Valley 6/21/03, Orlando 10/08/04, D.C. 10/11/04, Chicago 5/16/06, Chicago 5/17/06, LA 7/12/08, Chicago 8/23/09, Chicago 8/24/09, LA 10/07/09, San Diego 10/09/09 (Front Row Center, Finally), Phoenix(EV) 11/4/11, Wrigley 7/19/13, Phoenix 11/19/13, Denver 10/22/14, Wrigley 8/20/16, Wrigley 8/22/160

Do I enjoy seeing Pearl Jam? Love it! Do I have more money than I did in high school? Absolutely! Do I have higher priorities now than I did in high school which make me contemplate the spending more? Absolutely! So all that considered, yes I still wish the prices were lower and despite how much I love seeing this band, I’m not sure it will align with my priorities much longer. In high school I didn’t have much money but this band was my number 1 priority when it came to concerts, not any longer….which is my reasoning for wishing prices were lower. I understand why they are where they are at, and I don’t expect them to be lower. Cheers and keep rocking!I am lost, I'm no guide, but I'm by your side06.27.98 Alpine Valley

When tickets top $200, I'll probably stop going. With this tour, I was half hoping I wouldn't win the one ticket I requested.
For me, the real financial crunch is the travel. I commented in another thread that with a 22-song set list, the St Paul trip so far comes out to a little over 50 dollars per song. There are some songs that are not worth that to me.

That’s probably my $$ stop too. The last couple times and this tour also I’ve switched to 1 show. Going 9/5 in Chicago, I never would have dreamed of missing a night in Chicago in the past but the last shows at Wrigley and this year I’ve cut back due to costs.what dreams said:When tickets top $200, I'll probably stop going. My # is around 650*** but my ten club tickets have always been incredible. My seat for chi N1 is embarrassing with what I paid0

They’re reassigning seats because tm screwed up and didn’t factor in seniority with seat assignments.Daner90 said:My # is around 650*** but my ten club tickets have always been incredible. My seat for chi N1 is embarrassing with what I paid0 -
I paid $304 for two tickets for a show in 2022; so it's not an outrageous increase. But every increase, whether it be milk, eggs, gas . . .concert tickets, etc. it all adds up. Unless you are well off, all these price increases affect the pocketbook, so to speak. You have to prioritize where you are willing to spend the money. One day it will affect the concert going audience. I personally will no longer buy PJ tickets unless I win the lottery. I refuse to suffer the Ticketmaster BS ever again.Kevinman said:160ish/ticketDon't come closer or I'll have to go0 -

How many rant threads do you think there will be when 1/2 the reassignments are downgrades?
