This. I'm pretty much in the same boat.. 397xxx went from section 218 to 315. I know it's not a great number, but still 17-18 years of membership. 09 shows at UC I was 100 level and had only been a member for a few years. And those shows had HUGE demand too. N1 was their only US show announced at one point, before the LB tour came out. I've traveled for tours in '10, '13 and '16, always had lower level seats. All Wrigley shows, I opted for Reserved and still got very close seats down the foul lines within first few rows.Soul Glo said:I started in 200 level but was bumped up to 300. Hate to complain but I’m not really seeing much value in remaining a member. Granted, I have a low number (407xxx) but this number had me in the 100 level at the same venue in 2009 (section 111 one night and section 112 the other). Not sure how I get worse seats 14 years later. But oh well. I know it will be a great show regardless.
I mentioned in another post, I'm soooo grateful for the experiences that 10c has allowed me to have at a ton of shows....But it now feels like something has changed, in a big way, and not for the better.
I will say, the 300 level will be rocking and I look forward to being apart of it..He floated back down 'cause he wanted to share, his key to the locks on the chains he saw everywhere.0 -
I scored seated tickets yesterday and never received that email.artforbw said:
Ticketstoday sent an email with that statement last night at around 11pm CST, to those who scored seated tickets yesterday morning/afternoon.Olea111 said:
Curious where you saw this information?, as I got nosebleeds...artforbw said:Well, this looks bad for me. I had really good seats.
"Unfortunately incorrect seat assignments were issued to Ten Club members for shows in St. Paul, Chicago and Indianapolis. We confirm you have reserved tickets to this show but to ensure all Ten Club members get the proper reserved seat location based on their seniority, seats are being reissued."0 -
These dont seem better to me. I would have rather had your original seats. Back of the floor can be rough.MZ2626 said:My re-assigned seats were much better. Posted this earlier, but reposting on this thread.
I was seriously surprised that I got tickets for both Chicago shows and both St Paul shows. Priority 1 Chicago 2. Priority 2 Chicago 1. Priority 3 STP 2. Priority 4 STP 1.
TC# 179XXX (1998)
I had put in for 4 just hoping to get 1, and maybe 2. There was a quick phone call to my wife to minimize any issue with the credit card bill unexpectedly getting run up. I was absolutely over the moon with the reserved seats that were in my inbox (see below). I am not going to complain at all about getting tickets for all 4 shows, when so many seemed to be shut out. Though, I am taking it as some good karma, because I had planned a guys Europe trip around the Vienna and Prague shows last summer. My reassignment was like going to dinner and given the option of the filet mignon and lobster tail, paired with a malbec and petit verdot. After having the meal waived in front of me, I am told I cannot have it, but will be served a grassfed, slow-smoked brisket bacon bleu cheese burger and steak fried, paired with an award winning Belgian blonde. I am still going to enjoy the hell out of that burger and beer, but I was really looking forward to that surf and turf you just teased me with.
Original Seats
STP1 Sec 117, Row 1, Seats 5-6
STP2 Sec 103, Row 2, Seats 19-20
Chicago 1 Sec 101, Row 1, Seats 17-18
Chicago 2 Sec 101, Row 11, Seats 11-12
Reissued Seats
STP1 Sec 103, Row 7, Seats 1-2
STP2 Sec 103, Row 20, Seats 6-7
Chicago 1 SEC3, Row 29, Seats 7-8
Chicago 2 Sec 108, Row 5, Seats 5-6
Of course, I am fully expecting those row 1 seats to be up on platinum for $1000/seat.
And my credit card still hasn't been refunded.Post edited by AKmatt on0 -

Glad they are happy, but I'd prefer the 112's. At least both seem appropriate-ish with the TC #.Gern Blansten said:

As someone who is 5'6, I would def prefer sec 112 for not just being technically closer to the stage (maybe), but offering a much greater chance of seeing the stage vs. the back of people's heads. But 'front row' for 88XXX is how this should work, absolutely.BloodMeridian80 said:

I would strongly disagree that these are much better. This is "front row" BEHIND GA. Section 112 would have been closer to the stage, AND at an elevation. The actual seating chart isn't out but if it follows other venues, the current section 1,2,3 at United Center would be the Pit, and 4,5,6 would become 1,2,3.MZ2626 said:My re-assigned seats were much better. I'm not saying this to make you feel bad, they ARE still good tickets, but I think it supports my theory that they are converting the best fan club tickets to premium. And if anyone wants to read this and say it's fan club members complaining about even being in the door, keep in mind that more premium tickets = fewer fan club tickets IN GENERAL.Chicago '98 * East Lansing '98 * Indianapolis '00 * Detroit '00 * Cleveland '03 * Detroit (1st) '03 * Grand Rapids '04 * London (ON) '05 * Grand Rapids '06 * Chicago '09 * Chicago '13 * Chicago '160 -
Isn't GA pretty small now, so SEC1 and SEC 3, Row 1 and 2 would be within the first 1/3 of the floor from the stage?

GA looks to be an entire two sections deep. It looks bigger than I've seen it in a long while.SK20613 said:Isn't GA pretty small now, so SEC1 and SEC 3, Row 1 and 2 would be within the first 1/3 of the floor from the stage?1995.07.09 - 1995.07.11 - 1998.06.27 - 1998.06.29 - 2000.10.08 - 2000.10.09 - 2003.06.18 - 2003.06.21 - 2006.05.16 - 2006.05.17 - 2006.06.30 - 2007.08.05 - 2008.08.21 (ev solo) - 2009.08.24 - 2011.06.28 (ev solo) - 2011.09.03 - 2013.07.19 - 2016.08.22 - 2018.08.18 - 2022.02.09 (ev w/ earthlings) - 2023.09.050 -
Oh, wow. So is there no SEC4,5,6? Is there an updated Chart specific to the show, or what chart are people going by?TheKricket said:

EDIT - I should mention, this is the chart Ticketmaster put up for its listings.1995.07.09 - 1995.07.11 - 1998.06.27 - 1998.06.29 - 2000.10.08 - 2000.10.09 - 2003.06.18 - 2003.06.21 - 2006.05.16 - 2006.05.17 - 2006.06.30 - 2007.08.05 - 2008.08.21 (ev solo) - 2009.08.24 - 2011.06.28 (ev solo) - 2011.09.03 - 2013.07.19 - 2016.08.22 - 2018.08.18 - 2022.02.09 (ev w/ earthlings) - 2023.09.050 -
If this is seating chart is accurate, which it might not be, “front row” seating would be further back than section 112. https://www.eventticketscenter.com/pearl-jam-chicago-09-05-2023/5678640/tChicago '98 * East Lansing '98 * Indianapolis '00 * Detroit '00 * Cleveland '03 * Detroit (1st) '03 * Grand Rapids '04 * London (ON) '05 * Grand Rapids '06 * Chicago '09 * Chicago '13 * Chicago '160

I see it now, sorry. https://www.ticketmaster.com/pearl-jam-chicago-illinois-09-05-2023/event/04005E7DE6942CFEYes, I guess I would prefer 112, 113, 121,122 in this case. The seating algorithm should have taken distance into account better. I guess I'll be near the soundboard myself.

It DOES take it in to consideration. People with lower numbers have better seats. I am 67xxx and in 112, which is better IMHO than right behind GA.SK20613 said:I see it now, sorry. https://www.ticketmaster.com/pearl-jam-chicago-illinois-09-05-2023/event/04005E7DE6942CFEYes, I guess I would prefer 112, 113, 121,122 in this case. How in the world were people pushed back an entire SECTION— with NO ONE having better seats — if this reassignment had anything to do with “seniority”?Chicago '98 * East Lansing '98 * Indianapolis '00 * Detroit '00 * Cleveland '03 * Detroit (1st) '03 * Grand Rapids '04 * London (ON) '05 * Grand Rapids '06 * Chicago '09 * Chicago '13 * Chicago '160 -
I’m a 317xxx member
first draw I got both nights in section 106
second draw I got section 210 and 316
it seems a huge shift and I probably won’t make the trip from the UK as a result. No complaining. It’s just a long way to come to be back corner.Previous years in US I’ve been lower bowl halfway back.So strange but I guess it’s that more tickets are available to 10c and there’s loads more people with lower membership numbers. So fair enough. In some ways a 9% chance of winning the really great seats is more worthwhile than an 85% chance of getting anywhere. You can most likely get better seats by periodically checking TM after they haven’t sold all the $5k seats in premium.0 -
Looks like they're going to take a 3rd attempt to get this right."Based on this updated information, we now know the first attempt to fix these issues wasn’t sufficient. We remain fully committed to making things right.
In the coming days, Ten Club and Ticketmaster will be working on a solution to reassign seats to their final proper seniority based order. For some of you this will be a second reassignment. Tickets will not show in your Ticketmaster account until all seating assignments are finalized. You’ll be notified of any changes to your seating assignment in the next week. You will not lose your tickets and Friday’s Verified Fan on sale will not impact your seats."

We are sending a note to all Ten Club reserved seat ticket holders.
We apologize for the confusion and extra time it has taken to complete Ten Club’s presale. What we initially believed to be one issue affecting five shows turned out to be two separate issues - one originating from Ticketmaster and the second from Ten Club - affecting Ten Club seniority-based seating assignments across all nine shows. This had no impact on who got tickets, but did affect where those ticket holders’ seats were assigned. Based on this updated information, we now know the first attempt to fix these issues wasn’t sufficient. We remain fully committed to making things right.

We also want to address fan frustration about Ten Club tickets being located in higher levels of the venues compared to prior tours. We are committed to getting more inventory into the hands of Ten Club members and the only way to add more tickets is to go higher up. As a result of this additional inventory, we were able to allocate more tickets to Ten Club members than on any previous arena tour.
We want to reassure you that if you received an email confirmation, you have tickets to the show. We apologize that you may not know exactly where your seats will be located yet.
We are grateful for the Ten Club community and striving to do our best for you. Thank you for your patience.
