But of course. All I meant by "Where did this come from?!" was that it's kind of out of the blue almost 6 months after the show took place, not what the lineage was. Happy days!

:D I agree. That's why I grabbed it when I saw it. i was pleasantly surprised!
(Thanks again for the Copenhagen show, it's revived my interest in the 2007 boots.)

    No problem :)

we'll have to see what he says.

Same source as the one you mentioned, I got it from sidewalkcrusaders though. For anyone patiently waiting for the remaining two FLAC parts I apologise, It's been one of those days when Megaupload continually craps out. Hopefully parts 2 and 3 will be up tonight.

  • So, Monday week is New Year's Eve...

I've had the audience bootleg of PJ's 1992 New Year's show for some time now and it's one of my all-time favourites. Much better than the version released with the 10C Avocado last year for three reasons.
-It sounds better (it really does)
-It isn't cut (so you get the funny Marky Mark and Ted Nugent comments)
-It also includes Goin' Down (a song from Keith Richards set that Ed and Mike helped out on, nothing special but definitely worth hearing).

I uploaded it here along with some other gems I managed to acquire recently (all in FLAC):

1992-12-31 NYC (just noticed the info file is messed up, so I stuck it at the bottom of this post. Copy to an empty .txt file and save.)

    1991-12-31 San Francisco

    Vitalogy demos

Love, Reign O'er Me (from the radio promo single, i.e. crystal clarity!) Picked this up from Red Mosquito, thanks to crossfire.

Show Notes (thanks to Five Horizons):
Unusual fast version of 'Wash.' A short clip of 'Sonic Reducer' was broadcast
on CBS's New Year's Eve broadcast. (One of the cameramen almost does an
unintentional stagedive, camera and all.) Ed thanks Keith Richards, saying, "If
it weren't for Keith, Mike McCready wouldn't even be here." The rare 'Dirty
Frank' had not been played previously live in its entirety. 'Stranglehold' is a
Ted Nugent song. Mike remarks after this jam, "They forced me to play it. I
think Ted Nugent is a stupid idiot." Somewhat reluctantly, Ed and Mike join
Keith for his encore song, 'Goin' Down.'
