It’s hard to see someone with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) and not want to help. And while curing a rare disease like EB may be a once-in-a-lifetime feat — it’s one that’s truly within reach. Ed and I have been dedicated to EB Research Partnership (EBRP) for over 10 years and we’re so proud of the progress EBRP has made.

Those living with EB, like my friend Patterson, fight every single day and they've inspired us to fight for a much needed cure.

Last year, Team Vedder made some big waves for EB and raised almost $70K! This year, we want to do even more. All of the proceeds from the plunge advance EBRP’s mission to cure EB while pioneering a path for the 400M people around the globe with a rare disease. Momentum is everything and we can all take action that brings us closer to that cure. So join me, Patterson, and EBRP by taking the plunge!

We want you to donate, fundraise or jump with me into some freezing cold water to support EBRP and everyone living with EB.

With gratitude and lots of hope,

    Jill ❤️

3 WAYS TO SUPPORT TEAM VEDDER:

    1. Donate to Team Vedder: Hit the "Donate" button above to give! Every dollar helps fund critical research aimed at finding a cure for EB.

    2. Fundraise in your community: When you click “Join Team” above you’ll be prompted to make your own Fundraising Page. From there you can encourage all of your loved ones to donate and take the plunge too. All of our efforts will be tallied up on the Team Vedder page! Let’s see who can get the most people to donate!! The top fundraisers will be entered to win a special raffle!

    3. Take the plunge with me on April 21st: This year I’ll be joining Patterson and his family at Alki Beach to take the plunge and I hope you can come! If not, you can still participate through a virtual plunge. Find a body of water, put ice cubes in the tub, jump in the snow or get creative! Just be sure to tag @ebresearch, @jill.vedder, and #PlungeforElodie so I can see your amazing plunge! See below for more information on our in-person plunge.
