    It will only take about a quarter of a million people to fill all those jobs and tens of billions of dollars to pay them all.
    The failure of this plan is so apparently obvious, but gun advocates blatantly ignore it and pretend this problem doesnt exist outside of schools. We'd have to go complete martial law in order to protect every other public space in the country (retail stores, churches, parks, beaches, etc.). Stupidest argument ever is arming teachers or adding armed security. More fucking guns isn't the solution.
    But more guns IS the solution when more profit from gun sales is your end goal. The social chaos that goes along w/ it is a bonus. 

    They don't f'ing care about the dead kids. They care about their bottom line. The massacres are good for the bottom line, so why would they want them to stop? 
    I think this solution is something that just sounds simple enough that their base will like it. It also sounds less dumb than arming teachers. But it's pretty fucking dumb the moment you think about it for more than a few seconds though...which most of their base will refuse to do.

    My wife and I work in a middle school in the same town.   It is nice knowing that they are one to two armed police patrolling our hallways on a daily basis.  
    I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

    Exactly and my kids schools either! It’s absurd to think that the only way to keep kids & teachers safe at schools is by having armed guards roaming the hallways! I’m sorry but I find that to be a god damn shame

    Waking up to videos of execution style killings in queens at smoke shops and now another mass shooting. What’s a fucking joke this is honestly. Never ending. 

    It’s amazing how in the boroughs here in NYC arguments literally turn into a gunshot to the head in a split second. No regard for human life anywhere in this country.

    • At least five people have been killedin a shooting in Louisville, Kentucky, law enforcement said. At least six people were transported to a local hospital, including one police officer. 
    • The shooter is confirmed to be dead, police said, and the circumstances of the shooter's death are unknown. There is no active danger at this time, police added.

    4 dead, 7 civilians injured, 2 police officers injured, millions further traumatized.

    Time to listen to gun advocates talk about how we need armed police at every bank, but not to protect the assets, to protect the customers and employees from being shot. You know, the normal risk of living in wild America.
    It's a hopeless situation...
